TheMissendenFlyer Ben is on a different planet. He is so focussed and excited by life he can lift the mood of the most miserable person in seconds. I can only watch a few minutes at a time as for me, he is like a migraine in human form. Still love his adventures but my god his energy is tiring.

Another great Vlog. Being of a similar age and only now realising it myself, I can wholeheartedly agree with Bruce’s simple advice. Don’t waste your time chasing a bigger salary or trying to get the latest must have. Live your life now.! That means doing what makes you happy. You don’t have to go around the world or on some great adventure. It can be something as simple as going to the football with the kids. The point is make time do what makes YOU happy! Keep up the good work lads. Can’t wait for the next instalment.

So right Andrew. I retired earlier than one of my work mates and I had always regretted unlike him not paying more into my pension fund. I had been retired eight years before he retired. When he did he spent some time in Australia New Zealand visiting relatives brought himself a Porsche Boxster and you know what I am about to say and within a year of retirement got Cancer a year later we buried him. As Bruce says Live your life because before you know it your gone.

I never did the round the world on a bike, but I backpacked around the world for 16 months, and I can completely agree on the blues when I came home. I was depressed and wanted to go again. Love your channels guys

Just watched this as I've just come back from 'Toro Adventure' riding on/off road around the Spanish mountains like you guys. Great vid nearly 3 years ago now! I've just started watching both of you're channels and you are both a credit to the industry & Niche market to all things bike! I agree, so down to earth which makes your content sustainable & I'm sure you will both become the 'go to guys' to tell us about new products or other stuff associated with making life easier for us bikers or merely for entertainment. Live your life! Gentlemen, Dave here in Ohio, USA. A few months ago as my job ended I found myself spending a lot of time watching motorcycle related videos. I'm a rider and have had quite a few bikes and just love this passtime. I came across you two and you are still my favorites. Bruce, and you TMF have such candid honesty. I like that. ( In some ways, I think it's why youtube viewers might watch "real people" on our youtube channels perhaps whilst eating breakfast or a mug of tea, rather than conventional media?) I'd argue, that we are all sick of the dishonesty and lies from the BBC / Sky etc.

Max Flight: I found that I was chasing content on certain toys in the beginning, & then stumbled accidentally across these "First ride" & "first review" vids. After a quick few vids, I found myself chasing the vids from a select few vloggers. Not because of content, but I was infatuated at how appealing they were to listen to. I've seen hundreds & thousands of vids on bikes, both the Pros & the Amateurs. But the one that I take the most information away from, is the amateur! The jargon that comes out from the Pros means nothing. Its nice to listen to, but sometimes doesn't mean anything, &/or make any sense in the real world. Technicality that appears to be paid for. Will I use that? The Pro explains it, but you've got to go & work it out when riding. The Amateur seems to work it out for you. Its the view of that person, that brings things out that you might not have been aware of before. The Pro doesn't do that for you. I watch anything from 6 to 11 hours of youtube some nights. I think i've got it sorted when I say TMF is one of the best reviewers out there. That English touch of honesty, no swearing, just straight forward information both technically & personally. The simplicity of what its like to ride the beast. Thats something the Pro's just don't do..... Cheers groover ;-)

i'm sure about 10 years ago Bruce pulled me over on my pedal bike in central london! i was working as a courier at the time and aparently i'd jumped the last 3 red lights! lol i said i didn't notice the lights as i was watching the traffic and pedestrians! got slapped with a £30 ticket! i now have a proper bike with an engine and i don't jump lights anymore! no hard feelings Bruce hehehehe!

what a pleasant inverview - I did not know TP1 yet but I will head over to his channel and check his stuff out now. I find it really interresting that someone with that many subscribers and experience on this platform is still having a "schoold day" everytime he uploads- not sure if that makes me feel good or bad - that is how I feel but I have only been uploading content since last August ;-) Post production time for me 8-12 hours for a 4-6 min video that is after I have found the right music. Bruce is right about the coming home part. It's the same as coming back from travelling man, you need good people around you and something to get stuck into, is my advice, take your mind of the fact you've been on top of the world, only to come crashing back down again.
