It went downhill after the idea of mining ores in the prison mines for money was introduced. Servers such as this and others like PurplePrison or WildPrison are the ultimate conclusion of trying to maximize the mining aspect and trimming everything else that wasn't nearly as easy to monetize.

small note. This server wasn't necessarily rushed. This is actually a premade core you can find for sale within the prisons community which I believe costs about $250. other servers that have used this core include Minecadia, MineLucky, and now iBlocky. So essentially the administrative team on iBlocky bought this prisons setup for $250 and profited big time off of Ssundee's playerbase most likely without Ssundee knowing they put 0 effort into coding this. That is why they also have only one dev aswell.

It's not pay to win it's pay to have fun. Ssundee's team should've done more research before partnering up and being the face of this server/creating it because the fans deserve better. People in this comment section just blow the problem out of proportion and seem to suggest that Ssundee is not a good KZbinr anymore but that's just not true. While I do hate how he does a lot of fake videos, it's good content for kids.

It looks kinda stupid to us, but his content isn't for us anymore, it's for our younger siblings or children now. I’ve been rewatching a load of his old series (which still hold up incredibly well to this day), and in all honesty basically everyone of his servers from Prisons to Factions were p2w and had insanely predatory gambling which would be promoted and shown off every episode. People just didn’t care as much back then

I think what the problem with servers line these from youtubers is that they are usually controlled by a bigger organisation (the greedy ones that want money) that owns that hardware, software and everything else and they just use SSundee as a advertising icon where ssundee now dosent have as much control over what happens on the server as he used to and from that they create these pay-to-win servers and crates etc.

Something this reminded me of, was when SSundee put out a video where he basically talks about God, and how he "doesn't want his viewers to go to hell." While he did say that he's not trying to push people into becoming Christian, he kept repeating how "people have seen hell and it is real." I just wanna point out, I have zero problems with the fact that SSundee is more religious, but saying this message to your fanbase is extremely irresponsible, as someone who went through that experience as a child and was taken advantage of. Huge former SSundee fan here. Enjoyed watching his content from the OG Factions (SexyFaces :D) all the way to SkyFactory 4. It was his conversion to Fortnite and appealing to the newer generation (I know he's a Kids KZbinr) and didn't try to at least bat an eye to the fan base he built for so long that made me stop watching his content (Im looking at you 2-round nonstop modded Among Us Videos). @@maxpro751 It has a long list of reasons, notably that it has almost no advertising budget compared to safari, chrome, and opera gx, but that in itself is what makes opera gx suspicious. Why would a company spend millions of dollars... to get you to use their browser? Apple pushing Safari makes sense, because to use it, you need one of their devices. Google pushing Chrome makes sense, because it lets them collect more data. Microsoft pushes edge to collect more data. Firefox is open source, it has a lot of people working on it and no advertising budget. But if Opera GX was really the best browser and was trustworthy, why would they spend and need to spend so much on advertising

They gave out loans to people in Kenya, India, and Nigeria with over 300% interest to help build their business Their VPN is just a proxy to their servers, which really does nothing but let them see all your browsing information And most importantly, the Opera Company is based in China, which means ALL data that goes through them is on CCP owned servers.
