I have a titanium rod in my leg held by screws. Yes it does give extra support to the leg. But its where the rod is connected to bone that can cause problems and new fractures

Conor did admit to using steroids to help with the healing process and who can blame the guy there. I just don’t see this metal rod giving him any advantage in the fight. Weidman also got a titanium rod. I think the memory of that leg snapping is going to hinder him more than it will help him. Just my opinion. With all due respect.
