A lovely stream. 🤣 "It's like bait" - for the creek I fish, yep. That would catch you a whale. We are not allowed to fish bait in those creeks. Fly and lure restricted. unfortunately, I think the big rainbows have displaced all the browns that used to be in me creek. I have not caught one in an age. Those browns are beautifully coloured, the 1st bigger one was a little skinny but very healthy looking. Weedy Wig fish looked a lot fatter. Anther great video mate. Thanks for taking us with you :)

You can use live bait at this creek, but I never have the time to try it; I like to keep moving most of the time. I wish they were the size of the ones near you. These small creeks have a lot of smaller ones and a few significant but not as many as years ago

@@SlayermikeFishingandMORE That creek I fish, mainly, is where I grew up. The hole I fell into a few months ago is the same one I fell into when I was 4 years old, 50 years ago, Back then it had a lot of browns in it, now it is all rainbows. I miss the browns, but the bows are a lot of fun. Those browns would get to about 2 foot in there. They were a lot of fun on spinners. Wish I could take you there for belt, it would be a blast.

Thanks, Jon. Trout fishing is done until January unless I head south to the state parks or Iowa. I am looking forward to getting out on the big rivers for some pie and bass. The footage was shot a few weeks back. I was walking through some thick weeds waist high and managed to kick a log with my knee; I was fine at first, but over the days to follow, it started getting very difficult to walk, so I took a small break to heal it, and I am glad I did shoot this otherwise it would have been a month with nothing thanks for watching I appreciate it
