Great video Brock. By the way, I just found out that Paul James in Leicester offers a made-to-measure knitwear service. I was wondering if you could give it a try so you can tell us you experience.

Hey man, great review! Quick question: what fit did you select for your sport coat? I am checking out Lanieri's website right now and it looks like they offer 3 options. Not sure how much difference there is between slim and regular. I am looking for a slim fit but not too tight. Any idea? Thanks very much

Did Lanieri not accept a return for the unfitted sweater? I ask because last year I ordered a shirt from Lanieri that was so poorly constructed that I returned it. It was a difficult return process; Lanieri does not make it easy.
@BrockMcGoff4 жыл бұрын
I don’t try to return it. Not sure if they would have accepted...

I think for MTM, its average. If they actually fitted you, they didn't check the front sweep, which is important, because that can't be altered. I also think the patch pockets look a little big. The back of the jacket doesn't look straight on the bottom, but that could be because you were on/off the carpet. $995 USD for Zegna, made it Italy is a great deal.

Hey Brock, have you thought about trying Spier & Mackay? Unsure if anything OTR will fit your body type, but could try the MTO if that's the case!

@XxLogo4 жыл бұрын
@@BrockMcGoff yes I have tried them for many of their items. The chino's and button downs are great fit wise, and I find the sport coats and dress trousers are good with some alterations as you would expect. T shirts are also great as they had all of them on sale for a while. Be cool to see you do a video on them!

@@BrockMcGoff I haven't myself. One thing that stands out is the ability to send them one of your best fitting garments and I'll they'll copy the exact measurements for your other MTM garments with them. I've heard/seen this being very accurate and true to size.

So they measured you themselves and still messed up the sizing of all three items? Doesn't sound very good to me.

If you've ever bought MTM clothes, you probably know that it almost never fits perfectly out of the box. That's why these companies reimburse for alterations.

Wait, are people NOT wearing their pants on their waists? Ew. O_o
@patrick61102 жыл бұрын
This is not a good commercial for Lanieri. The sweater is ridiculously roommy. How do you get measured for size and end up with such a gigantic sweater? Frankly I would be upset. Then the jacket is absurdly too short. The rule of thumb is that the jacket should cover your ass. Not even close. Finally the pants don't look right at all even after being let out. The seat of the pants look bad. And the pant legs are way too short. I can't imagine how short they must get once you're sitting. Very disappointing.
