The real deal right here. Unleashed hell soloing...not just some rehashed funk licks. ❤❤❤ smokin group cohesion!

World wide Mono Funk! Slaying them on every continent. Couldn't happen to a nicer more humble funny AF Mofo. Talkin after a gig at SOBs here in NY and getting some great pics together still makes me smile. Miss ya with Ghost Note. Miss Blacque Dynamite. But it keeps getting better, wetter and a warm flow like a bed wetter 🤎🙏✨️🙃🛸💫🎊

Love it when Mono morphs into a transformer during his solos. You can tell he was completely locked in that mode then bruh and the band a great job just facilitating the solo too

The way this guy plays his custom style fender is ridiculously good! He is right-handed playing the strings in a different location upside down... Sheesh ! Come on Bruh!

Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm hearing stuff reminding me of Bill Frisell and Vernon Reid's "Smash and Scatteration" in that solo and maybe a bit of Adrian Belew. It's a good thang! Keep on keepin' on!

It's a pity that this great gig was only bearable with hearing protection...
@rogierasselt497219 күн бұрын
yeah, I agree. I ve seen him and ghostnote and at both venues the volume was nearing the pain threshold. I do not understand why this is necesary, why amplify everything at such an insane volume, this type of music benefits from being well recognisable without hurting your ear drums...
@omorgen19 күн бұрын
Totally agree. I was at the front row left and it was unbearable, mostly got fed the hi-frequencies of the keyboard and obviously the lows the bass. I put on my airpods for a large portion of the the show until i had to move to the back of the venue. I don’t get why it has to be so loud at concerts, usually larger venues. But surprisingly at a “local jazz club”
@rogierasselt497219 күн бұрын
@@omorgen I complained with the venue owner about the horrific low frequency soup painfull eardrum volume. He got back to me and told me the band simply played too loud for the sound technician to have much control over the volume. This happened at a "ghostnote"concert , mononeon also plays in that band. It ruined my evening bacause it was a concert I was really looking forward to. I ve recently bought concert ear plugs .
@omorgen19 күн бұрын
@ The excuse is bogus. They could lower the volume at the mixing desk, the unbearable sound was coming from the PA system not the amp on stage. It’s how the band / Mononeon wanted it i guess and it’s a pity.

@@rogierasselt4972 That’s Bullshit even if the band is loud it’s the sound engineers job to getva reasonable level for the audience to Njoy
