Matt is a true artist, and I am so glad he didn't give in to the executives and marketing people and all those types. It probably did make him a real pain to work with, but too bad. If you want that kind of quality, this is how it has to be. Respect!

Amazing what showrunners go through. not only do they have to oversee the writing and story of the entire show, they have to balance cast and crew personalities, navigate the executive world, and fight for creative control.
