Matt James didn’t have her back when she was being cancelled (despite knowing her for the woman she had become). He left her hanging bc that’s what he was pressured to do. Now he string her along for 4 years knowing they are not end game. Distastefully makes a breakup post to announce his singleness in a way that he knew would hurt her (12 hours later)… I said it years ago and I’m saying it again now MATT JAMES IS SPINELESS. I’m sorry but it’s giving spineless. He didn’t have her back when she needed him, he wasn’t clear with his intentions, and hurt her publicly 3 hours after turning her world upside down. I’m not saying he’s a through and through villain, but he’s got some real character flaws.

I don't know much about the Rachael and Matt thing but I appreciate your take on how hard it is to end a 4 year long relationship after having some hope that you might have a family/kids/marriage/etc. I am 30 and ended a 4 year relationship 1.5 years ago and it does take time to get over my ex (even though I ended it) and now am just starting to think about getting into the dating sphere again. It's actually terrifying haha. Love you girlies. ❤

Is anyone else feeling the way they’re talking about Matt and how he ended things with Rachel is how they should’ve been talking about Paige to Craig? The undertone of Paige and Craig’s relationship was very similar (4 seasons of both shows of Craig being like I wanna propose and I wanna move forward but Paige has cold feet, I wanna have kids I wanna build a home but Paige doesn’t know), Craig is a person who just loves and wants to be loved and their love language didn’t seem compatible at all either - and tbh when Claud says “keeping someone in a relationship for 4 years when they’re not even sure they wanna be with them is a crime” is sort of what Paige did to Craig 😬😬 I’m sorry I just can’t unsee the similarities

Am I the only one who thinks Matt James is absolutely diabolical after listening to the Call Her Daddy interview? A number of times Rachel said that he would make her think that she was the problem and that he would make her believe that she was bad and she needed to apologize a lot. And honestly, a man that isn’t a narcissist manipulator would never do that and I know narcissist manipulator is a trend these days but I think that Matt James is Zach Brian without the alcohol and physical abuse. SURRULES dropped a screen recording of TIktoks he posted degrading Rachel on camera and he actually posted them... he is one of those abusers that doesn't believe what he's doing is inappropriate. He was actually getting the phone up in her face, wagging his finger at her repeatedly, causing a scene for her to have to mouth "i'm sorry" to the neighboring patrons. It's SO SAD bc she was clearly in a mentally abusive relationship and probably verbally as well. The video posted... I was half expecting him to slap her for how mad and upset at her he sounded. It made my skin crawl bc I knew that behavior far too well from my experience with someone who's an abuser. I'm actually thankful she got out now versus going on for over a decade and thinking his behavior was fine/normal to endure.

I usually listen on Apple Podcast, but had to KZbin today to check out the new set. LOVE IT! Also wanted to say, I love your current intro. When you do the new intro song, just don't make it too long. After people have heard it a time or two, it will start to get soooo annoying. One of the reasons I don't listen to Something Was Wrong often is the insanely long and annoying intro song. I listen to you gals daily and I just don't want to hate that new intro with all my being.
