I don't like that people think Jason 2 is evil. Think about it. He asked him if he wish he had done things differently. He told Jason 1 in episode one, that he's doing what is best for the both of them. And by bringing Jason 1 to his world, J1 would have money and professional accomplishment. Plus, J1 met Daniella 2 in episode two and they hit it off really well before she got killed. Makes you think, could J2's world actually have been better for J1?

I agree with this. One thing I've noticed that Jason2 hasn't actually killed anyone and instead he just kidnaps them. He's a jerk, but he has a line he's not trying to cross

I don't think that he's evil but what he did is unacceptable. He asked Jason 1 if he's happy with his life but he didn't give him a choice! He took away his agency, he literally drugged and kidnapped him, then dumped him in a reality where he doesn't have his wife and his SON doesn't exist! Even if he truly believes that Jason 1 would be happier in this scenario, it doesn't give him the right to make that choice for him and abduct him. That was extremely selfish and inexcusable. Even if he regrets not pursuing his scientific career which I think he does, he would never trade away his child. Maybe someone would give up their wife and just try to get her back in the other reality, but there's no getting back that child. Only a monster would give up their child. He loves his son.

@@kingdomcitizenship5613 Thanks. Sorry if it sounded like I was yelling at you with the exclamation points lol. I do agree with you that Jason2 is not evil. I believe that in his mind, he rationalized what he did. He spied on Jason1 and was probably aware that J1's friend won that prestigious prize in this world, not J1. I'm sure he believed J1 regrets not pursuing science more - and he probably does have regrets. J2 isn't a mustache-twirling villain who did this sadistically with the understanding of how much it would break J1 to lose his kid. And honestly, the way J1 is acting, getting closer to Amanda, it does almost seem like he'd trade her for Daniela now. 😂 But not if it meant his son was never born.
