So interesting that you're watching this without having seen the Boys properly. Reminds me of when people started reacting to House of the Dragon without having seen Game of Thrones. I always liked finding those reactions. I suppose the difference with this though is that House of the Dragon was a prequel whereas Gen V is happening between season 3 and 4 of the Boys in the timeline which makes it kinda important to watch them together.

In the original show, we see only one parent figure who decided to pump their baby full of Compound V. It is so interesting to see in this episode that all parents are really horrible people, and to be honest, that tracks.

Yeah, in real life you would have to be a VERY specific type of person to be willing to give your infant a drug that they do NOT know the reaction is going to have within the child.... The powers are pretty random so you don't know what the outcome is going to be... I'm really glad that they're exploring the fact that you know the people who decide to have that done to their kids... probably aren't the best people out there, ya know? They're all kind of trash in different ways and it absolutely tracks. 100%.

Emma has to eat to get bigger so it's a really slow process. She's different from Ant-Man and the guy in The Boys Season 3. You can't forget him growing big.
