Two things that broke my heart in this documentary: 1- when she listened to her recording and saw the disappointment in her face and said “I don’t like it”. It’s sad, she knew her voice has changed. 2- when she had the spasm. That was so raw. The distortion of her body and face broke my heart. I watched her concert at Rose Garden (Moda) in Portland OR years ago. 😢

I actually hadn't heard of Stiff person syndrome before which is rather sad because I have Epilepsy. Due to that I have seen many Neurologists over the years. This creates awareness that people SERIOUSLY need! THANK YOU for creating it. That in itself is something that will NEVER be forgotten. I know how much courage this took and I have to commend you for it. Not to long ago, I sang a hymn called "The apple tree" only I added words to make it for everyone, etc. because I have always loved that hymn. I grew up singing in the Church Choir when I was younger because my father was Choir director at the time. I'd have a seizure once and awhile, so the preachers wife would watch after me as I slept in a room until I woke up. The apple tree was also the inspiration behind a painting I made years ago called Magnolia. To remember that you're a beautiful apple on the apple tree is a wonderful thing. Celine mentioning an apple blew me away, along with many things. I think people truly can't understand the pain convulsions create unless they have actually had to deal with them, etc. Not that I'd wish that upon my worst enemy and certainly not Celine Dion! The apples on your tree may seem less to you Celine but in actuality they're more beautiful and meaningful than they ever were. Your fans, including this one will always see that. I commend your strength. Sometimes, people REALLY can't see what someone's having to deal with daily hidden behind a smile. I see it, I've lived some of it and I think you're even more amazing!!! I applaud you. You're inspirational and I hope that you never forget your strength.

I have been struggling with FND/Conversion disorder since Aug 2023. A week after my birthday too.. And you and my niece (who was born on my 11th birthday and was paralyzed by transverse myelitis when she was 11yrs old. ) The little clips about this have given me hope and strength to slowly speak up and prevail. I was trying to do the right thing though which resulted in this. I lost my apartment, can't work, can't drive, have to rely on my walker probably forever especially outside. I have paralysis, contractures, spasms, seizures, facial droop, twitching, Sensitive to lights, sounds, words, touch, stroke like episodes, I feel like I can collapse. I feel like a bobble head. We will add Heat/Humidity after yesterdays heat wave. Every time I have an episode I feel like I get weaker. Overexertion will result in an episode. I am getting deep intercranial migraines. The episode feels like a scene from a Exorcism when my head goes back and to the side and left hand contracts. I can't breath. Been battling like I don't exist anymore and was alone. Even though I had my niece to relate with. Thank you for opening up. Counting down. I think in a way with this I will be able to breath and advocate better with my own too.

OK just finished watching it. I'm a mess!!! Shaken up at the beginning and the end!!! Breaks my heart of what she's gone through especially something autoimmune. Sooooo scary. In 2016. I went through a really scary autoimmune virus where I got mysteriously paralyzed waste down. Really scary for me not being able to walk, fun, or be active. Grueling and intense but I made a miracle speedy recovery. I am standing again on my own 2 feet!! That time of my mysterious paralyzation was crazy.... I initially was supposed to attend Celine's free NYC concert she gave on The Today Show. I was in the hospital going through all the testings. Sadly, I couldn't go. I did see Celine prior at Madison Square Garden on her Taking Chances Tour and I did eventually get to see her again a few years later on the Courage Tour in Brooklyn....her last major NY concert before COVID & what was revealed. Pray for Celine!!! So humble, passionate, dedicated, and cares for what she wants & for everyone around her.

Ms., Queen Celine, God bless you, words cannot explain the pain I felt inside my heart watching your documentary, you are sun, you are light, you are warmth and you are life. sometimes we want to ask, why me? who questions God? we are forced to accept whatever comes our way because we have no choice, I cry for you but, I don't cry from sadness, I cry for the many blessing you've had through out your life, your very large and beautiful family and then the blessing of having a loving husband and beautiful loving children. if only everyone of those millions of fans who love you could each take a bit of your pain away and have you back on stage been yourself again, I'd sign up too and get my share even though I have lupus, I would care.
