Thanks for the tip mate. The problem I see with these indicators that plot divergence is that they are lagging. By the time the indicator shows the divergence the price has already moved. Therefore my recomendation would be to train your eyes to catch these divergences as they are happening live. Cheers

read the description for this video. clearly states to not use it live because it laggs...here copy and pasted for you. **this divergence indicator is not to be used for live trading because the signal shows up late. this divergence indicator is to be used for back testing to learn how to identify hidden divergences and regular divergences. please for the love of God do not use this indicator for live trading because your entry will be wrong. use this as a tool to learn how to spot them live.**

Hey Arty. 1 question I would really appreciate if you could answer. At 4:47 in this video you say that "right after that candle closed you could have entered..." I am using your TMA divergence indicator but it only shows the divergence after like 5 candles so I would constantly be late to enter. If I change the loolback period from 5 to 1, the divergence indicator simply doesn't show the divergence. Could you please advise?

Nice video! I have a question though. So, a hidden divergence is showing a trend continuation? However, what if I see in a down trend a bullish hidden divergence? If I am using a trend reversal strategy, I should ignore the hidden bullish divergence as it's a sign of the current trend continuing? Despite it being a hidden "Bullish" divergence on a downtrend? In this case I guess If I'm using the RSI as an extra confluence for when to make a trade on a trend reversal I should wait for a regular bullish divergence on a downtrend and ignore the hidden bullish divergence? Sorry if this is a silly question and I'm misunderstanding...

How I remember Divergence easily and correctly: If the Divergence is on the lows - price will go up If the Divergence is on the highs - price will go down Whether is hidden or regular, SIMPLE :)

On a bearish hidden divergence, are you focusing on the lows or highs? You said it's opposite from bullish, do you just mean direction wise or the peaks we should be focusing on.

A little before 3:16 you indicate that when the Divergence indicator is lower than a previous low but actual price is a higher low; this means its more oversold and a good entry point especially if on a support line. My question is would this still be considered oversold if RSI is above the midpoint? In addition to that if price is right at or around a moving average would that make the trade lower risk or would that be of no importance? thank you...

the hidden bullish divergent show up after 5 candles from the swing low. so,, you cant entry like that,, you have to wait for the swing low which is wait for 2 candle higher from the lowest or wait 5 candle based on the indicator will show

When looking for regular divergences, we are always looking for the lows of the price and lows of the indicator (Lower high and lower low). When looking for hidden divergences, we are always looking for the highs of the price and highs of the indicator (Higher high and Higher low). Plus you should have other confluences as well, making you trading decision stronger 🙂
