I painted my version GOLD Metallic as well. The bumper I just cut in two where the license plate goes then reglued it together and filled and painted it with chrome paint. It a great fix for a frustrating part of the MPC kit. the license plate hides the cut anyway but the fit is nice and tight afterwards. I put the honeycombs on mine as well, I think I got them off Ebay as resin copies. I wish I had that dual air cleaner you have on you great version!

Great looking GTO Raoul! The honeycombs really look good on this car. I've been looking forward to this since I saw the box in your stash video and you did not disappoint. Now you have me wanting to get the 72 GTO and build it, but they are asking quite a bit for them now on Ebay and no glue bombs available at the moment.

Man a great job on the Goat. After 67 I wasn’t a great fan on the 68 or newer a lot of people didn’t really care for them. I bought one complete with a bad cam for 45,00 dallors

Really nice. The camera did focus on the Ram Air, but the decal is so small that I could only see ham Air, instead of Ram Air! XD

Questing do you put the chrome trim on first then clear or after?

I air brush them. I did a few Hot To: on airbrushing the body and also using automotive clear.

That is because the kit has been reissued a lot since 72. The molds are pretty worn out!
