Roger had been the quite one. First to leave the band, get married, moved out to a beautiful English farm and get away from the crazed fans. I missed him when he left but was so thrilled to see him on Arcadia. I'm sure many of you, like me, are thrilled he come back to the band with a new attitude and a desire to carry Duran into this new decade. Cheers Froggie!

Roger was the first to leave the band in 1986 - but he wasn't the first to marry. the first to marry was Andy Taylor during their 1982 tour.

They have stood the test of time. Very eloquent stylish gentlemen whom are extremely talented. Just when you think they are done. They come back like a shiny glamorous british phoenix rising. lovely these lads.

I was one of those girls screaming and waiting outside their hotels in the 80's. I still go and try to catch them at every appearance they make.I will always love Duran Duran.

Roger still looks hot as ever. He was so shy in the 80's i can't recall ever hearing him talks. U guys aged so well it's unbelievable.

Nick did a lot of interviews in the 80s, but I don't think I've ever seen Roger do an actual interview from back then. He was always "The Shy One". Thanks for posting this!!

This is the most I've heard Roger say. It' nice to hear him and what he has to say but he was such a quiet guy it's weird to hear him talk.
