LOL! Yeah NOT a movie for 12 year olds! I was 17 when it came out. I went to the opening day. I couldn't wait! Loved the movie. Loved the whole soundtrack. Also this was when I was introduced to Billie Holiday. There was a scene where he played one of her old records. I think it was the first time they were @ his place.

Thanks for the compliment. I try my best to as a fan to think. If you haven't heard the song "Everyone Getting It but Me" it's almost like the morning after song without intending to be. It's also worth noting on a recent commentary I saw that Simon mentioned that JT's recklessness during the '80's was the inspiration for the song "Hold Back the Rain." Even though by all accounts JT wasn't supposed to sing this song there really isn't anyone who could have brought this to the level its at.

You might be having problems finding it to download cause John wasn't the original singer for this song. In the actual movie, someone else did the vocals for it, (though I can't recall off hand who it was) but John did the vocals for the video. Wish I could help you more, but if you're looking up the song under John's name, that might be why.
