Peeping Tom was a brilliant project. Shout out to whoever requested this. Truly great music.

This band and album was an experiment in creating pop music but using the rock and metal palette. The songs are distillations of pop genres and themes and statements about pop. As far as I can tell, Mojo is what it would be like if the booze and drug addled superstars wrote introspective songs about the lifestyle like rock and metal stars do, but without any of the depth or self awareness that many heavy musicians tend to have. Hence, all the drugs, there's blood on the ceiling and the carpet. It's satire because it's Mike Patton, so it's an uncensored version of the self destructive lifestyle many pop stars fall into. Also, I think this song being requested was a gift to you, Mike, since as a home recording musician and producer you also delve into distilling genres or concepts for your work. Anything Mike Patton touches is gold.

My favourite album of 2006! Also, Don't Even Trip has one of the best lyrics ever. Have a listen and see if you know which one I'm talking about..... Also, 5 Seconds is a trip.

Nobody really reacts to this amazing project...I always put this in the comments everywhere in the reacting community..nobody bites.

@@jdawg6624 sadly its just content that wont bring in new views. people that do reaction videos, even to lesser known stuff, tend to stick with the same crop of songs. even though they "have no idea what this is but i keep being asked to do this one..."

everything mike patton does is gold. i highly suggest checking out a lesser known project he did called "lovage: music to make love to your old lady by" which is basically a strange version of lounge music. the whole album is really amazing, but i guess i'd suggest starting with the song "book of the month"
