The world of Gorillaz is definitely fascinating. Throughout the song, he often connects what's going on to the drums, and how an industry, whether entertainment or war, is controlling people's perception. Like the drums of war, have soldiers march into battle, taking lives. And after Wars, we get war stories which tell us of those horrors, and how the lifeless can now enlighten what life is, it's priceless. So in the video we're seeing the graves pop up. And they're marching to a beat.

I’ve loved Gorillaz since I was your age (centuries). Your reaction is like hearing them again for the first time. Thank you 🙏🏼 🌻🙏🏼

I am constantly surprised by how quickly you pick up on the undertones and abstract ideas in the music I love. Keep killing it man you're awesome.

It's almost like he might do some research and it's not really his first time listening...😮

Ive seen so many of your videos, but this one sold me on your reactions. You understand the lyrics so quick and you break them down just as fast. Keep it up, man!

I remember when this came out 22 years ago, and still so relevant today, great choice!!

Also, a funny thing that they did with the "that it's all in your head" part, if you had downloaded the song (or playing it on spotify maybe, not sure exactly) it would only play that part of the song if you were wearing headphones.

100% recommend looking more into the band, they have a MASSIVE story of their "characters" that flows through every song, along with just the songs themselves being amazing.

I found this band on...NPR. They played a song along with an interview. I love this band not only for the music but also the messages within. I'm glad someone else has caught it! The Russel spirit is not negative. It is the voice that tells you to move just before a car flies by. It's the real driver of the flesh vehicle. Listen to it.

Fun fact about the "that it's all in your head" line, they did someone with the audio on the music video so that you can only hear that part if you're wearing headphones

Love the way this dude reacts, analytical but still having fun with it. Dude made me appreciate a song I’ve been listening to for over 15 years, now more than ever

Back in the day, when I was young, then this was among things I listened to. I love that you are reacting to it.
