@@ShafiqFaizal @Shafiq Faizal as I say in the video I DO think we should have a justice system with punishment. Just because people don't inehrently deserve to suffer punishment on the deepest level, doesn't mean that the punishment doesn't have benefits. First we ask ourselves what our goal is? One that I can generally agree with is: to promoto well-being and reduce suffering among people in society. How do we achieve this? Well a justice system (probably including punishment) would definitely have to be part of the task. It will disincentivize actions that counteract the goal of promoting well-being and reducing suffering. It can also repay wronged individuals. It can do many good things. Notice though, that inflicting suffering is never a good thing in itself my belief. Not even if the individual inflicted suffering on others. Muhammad Ali, i love you for the sake of Allah. You have been doing excellent work consecutively. May Allah increase you in dawah and being of service to the Ummah and mankind. I do think your dawah would be even better if you gave people a little more room to talk and fully explain their points before giving your responses, even if what they say is really silly. I think it would help the other person and audience feel like the other person got a chance to fully say their points and I think it would also strengthen the points in the rebuttals you make even more and make you appear more confident too, as you have the knowledge and evidences, so you will eventually show it to them and make it clear, but they have to feel like they gave a little more of their points to you. May Allah bless you to continue doing excellent work and accept all the work you are doing for His sake. Ameen.

•'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: "We were attending a funeral at Baqī‘ aI-Gharqad (Muslim cemetery in Madīnah). The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and sat down, and we sat down around him. He had a small stick in his hand. He lowered his head and started scraping the ground with the stick, then said: "There is none among you, except that his seat in Paradise or in Hell is decreed." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, should we depend on what has been decreed for us?" The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Exert the effort, for everyone will find it easy to do such deeds that will lead him to what he was created for..." Then he mentioned the rest of the Hadīth. [Hadith: Al-Bukhari and Muslim] •The Companions (may Allah be pleased with him) were attending the funeral of one of them in the cemetery of the people of Madīnah. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sat among them with a stick in his hand. He lowered his head towards the ground, as if he was thinking deeply and greatly concerned about something. He started to scratch the ground with the stick, then said that Allah, the Almighty, has decreed the fates of people and determined their seats in Paradise and Hell. When the Companions heard that, they said: If the fate of those who will be wretched and those who will be prosperous, those who will be in Paradise and those who will be in Hell, has already been predetermined and decreed, why should we not give up doing good deeds; for exerting effort is useless, given the fact that everything is decreed and predestined? The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) answered that they should work hard and not rely upon the good and evil which Allah has predestined. Instead, they have to do what they are commanded to do, and refrain from what they are forbidden from doing. Indeed, Paradise and Hell are attained by people's deeds; those who do the deeds of the people of Paradise shall enter Paradise, and those who do the deeds of the people of Hell shall enter Hell. Everyone will find it easy to do such deeds that lead him to what he was created for, be it good or evil. Therefore, whoever is decreed to be among the prosperous, Allah will lead him to do the deeds of the prosperous, and whoever is decreed to be among the wretched, Allah will lead him to do the deeds of the wretched.

*Predestination and Freewill* are very important topics in all religions. Yet, none talks about or resolves the knot like Islam/Quran. Predestination in Arabic is called Qadar. In a technical sense, qadar means, "something of which there was a prior knowledge. Al-Qadr is a belief that everything comes from Allah and is known by Allah. Allah's knowledge is limitless. The Quran says: 3:5 "Truly, nothing is hidden from Allah in the earth or in the heavens". 6:59 “And with Him are the keys of the unseen, that noone knows but He. He knows whatever there is in the land and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but He knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record”. Islam teaches two things. Everything is written, all that is going to happen has already been written. We have a freewill. *Is this a contradiction?* No. Here is why. God created a book/record called Lahul Mahfud. In it are everything that will happen or that has already happened. So far understandable and not answering the contradiction, right? *In it are also every possible scenario that could have happen or would have happened if you have taken different path.* So it is not one path but multiple paths. On top of that, God knows for all the possible paths and which one you will take and die on it. What matters in Islam is what actions you die on it. God give us options to take any possible path given to us, right, left, correct, wrong. Each action we take have consequences and possible paths they will lead to. Gods knows everything, we don’t. God knows the actions and fate of each person. However, Muslims are not fatalists. We cannot throw in the towel and insist that our actions mean nothing, since "after all" everything is already pre-determined. We have a responsibility to always try our best and make sound choices. There is an expression/Hadith that says along the lines like "Tie our camels first then Trust on God" - meaning that we can't just let our camel roam about, thinking that "if it were meant to be," it would stay nearby and not get lost or stolen. This expression is based on an incident in which the Prophet Muhammad met a Bedouin man who let his camel roam free because he "puts his trust in Allah." The Prophet advised him to tie his camel, and then trust Allah. We have a responsibility to be thoughtful and make good decisions, using the intellect and common sense that Allah has created us with. At the same time, when something befalls us that we don't want, or that we don't understand. we recognize as Muslims that there is a Higher Power involved and our knowledge of the situation is limited. This belief gives us hope, and helps us to be patient and patient during hard times. We cannot get angry that things happen the way they do, since we've tried our best, and in the end it is qadri'Allah, Allah's destiny for us. To become angry or impatient with what happens in life, is to become angry or impatient with God - since nothing occurs unless it is Allah's will that it be so. May Allah protect our hearts from such weakness. 73:19 Lo! This is a Reminder. Let him who will, then, choose a way unto his Lord. 25:57 Say: I ask of you no reward for this, save that whoso will may choose a way unto his Lord. 80:11-12 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 29:69 As for those who strive in Us, We surely guide them to Our paths, and lo! Allah is with the good. God is clearly telling us that we need to struggle hard in order to find the path to God. Allah will only guide those who actually struggle to be guided. If God has already predetermined who would go to hell and heaven without giving us free will then it would be useless for Allah to tell us to strive to be good. So God guides those who strive and put an effort to want to be guided. 39:7 If ye are thankless, yet Allah is Independent of you, though He is not pleased with thanklessness for His bondmen; and if ye are thankful He is pleased therewith for you. No laden soul will bear another's load. Then unto your Lord is your return; and He will tell you what ye used to do. Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men). 10:45 And on the day when He shall gather them together, (when it will seem) as though they had tarried but an hour of the day, recognising one another, those will verily have perished who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided. 16:33-34 Await they aught say that the angels should come unto them or thy Lord's command should come to pass ? Even so did those before them. Allah wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves, So that the evils of what they did smote them, and that which they used to mock surrounded them. Surah 41:46 Whoso doeth right it is for his soul, and whoso doeth wrong it is against it. And thy Lord is not at all a tyrant to His slaves. Again we see that Allah is not to be held responsible, but the sinners are for their own sinful actions that they willingly chose to commit. So Who Are The People That Are Misguided? 2:26 Lo! Allah disdaineth not to coin the similitude even of a gnat. Those who believe know that it is the truth from their Lord; but those who disbelieve say: What doth Allah wish (to teach) by such a similitude ? He misleadeth many thereby, and He guideth many thereby; and He misleadeth thereby only miscreants; 22:4 Against him it is written down that whoever takes him (the devil) for a friend, he shall lead him astray and conduct him to the chastisement of the burning fire. 7:30 A party hath He led aright, while error hath just hold over (another) party, for lo! they choose the devils for protecting supporters instead of Allah and deem that they are rightly guided. *When God says: 7:178* *Whoever Allah guides is truly guided. And whoever He leaves to stray, they are the ˹true˺ losers.* This follows the same theme as the other verses. Think about God as the designer who set up the system you are part of. Let us use an Example. We humans are fond of examples and understand better with them. Let us take this world as Created game, Virtual Game, developed by smart entity. Like our VR, you plugged in, and you are given options of what you can do. Everything, pixel in the Game is created by the Entity. You can only do what is availed to you so it's predetermined. It is also optional/Free will as you can go and do this option and that option, etc. God said, 37:96 when it is God Who *created you and whatever you do?”* God written, created everything that exists, existed or will exist. That means God created all the paths, life, death, good and bad. For what? So we could be tested for all scenarios given to us and which ones we will choose. In Hadith, Prophet SAW talked about this, Predestination and Free will. For example, "Nothing increases one's lifespan except good deeds, and nothing repels Divine Decree except du'a. And verily, a person may be deprived for sustenance due to a sin that he does!"Narrated by Ibn Majah #90 and confirmed authentic by Shaykh Al-Albani in As-Sahihah #154 God wants us for good things. He asks us to stay away from everything bad for us. If one were to do as God mentioned, we will Automatically live happy and fulfilling life, which generally God willing should translate long lives, given conducting environment. Prophet, upon whom be peace, used to make the following du'a during the witr prayer: " ... Bless me in what You have given me. And avert and *turn away from me the evil that has been decreed for me,* for verily You Decree (all things), and none can decree against You ... "Reported by At-Tirmidhi #464, An-Nasa'i #1725 and others, with an authentic chain. To come back to the Example above, everything in the Hypothetical Game, above, has already been written, designed and coded. A Player though can be given an option to get to another level, path through the system for different cases. Taking them to another path does not negate that the Game is already written, designed, and coded. Through Dua, God can change the path you are on in this Existence to something that is already written for you, but you were not on before. We can this view in Quran from the story that happened between Prophet Musa and Khadr peace be upon them. This is my understanding. The ultimate knowledge, reality is with God. God knows best.

@@Theo_Skeptomai I dont know what kind of Evidence you want. Perhaps you are forgetting where you are and why you are here for. I think you are so called atheist. I am going to repeat some of the points I made above. Here is small thing to think about how Muslims see this world. Think of this world as a Virtual Reality with different obstacle levels. Each of us comes to this Reality with predefined scenarios we have to navigate from. We are given a tribal, race, family, relationships/façade, temporary façade that adds to the course that we are given. This is not limited to human associations. This is also true for wealth, health, and other things that affect our lives here. These might make our movement harder or easier. Either case, the harder the hand we are given and we succeed, the better we are positioned when it all ends. We don’t choose the hand we are given. Excellence is what is expected from us whatever the hand. We just don’t die and disappear neither do Children suffer for no reason. Suffering is the eye of the beholder. We and the kids have the same substance, we call it Soul. That is the REAL US. When the Test finish and we are out, we come out as the same. What we call children are just the same entities as us whose slotted time on this Reality got ended early. If you understand this, you understand this world. Nothing dies for real in this world. Yes, the avatar or character, bodies you are given to play dies but that thing that makes the character work does not. It exits the Virtual reality, existence, and wakes up to the reality it already knew and come from. Then the truth will start to dawn on us. Every one of us will remember why they were in this reality upon exit. You might ask, why we don't remember. Because it defeats the reason we are here for. We are here for a purpose. As we start this game called World and we get transplanted in the middle of a small baby growing inside of a mother, we start fresh and assume total plug-in to this reality. This means temporarily forgetting everything outside of this existence for testing purpose. Brain and the data it contains are created in this existence. Everything about this reality is already programmed, designed to the pixel level, using a term we know. All the options and choices we are availed to us in the reality are also known and configured by God for us. What is expected of us is to use the rules set for this reality and excel. These rules are created by God to help us achieve our goal, to get the best possible outcome when our time is reached while living the best possible life no matter our social-economic status. Of course, Virtual reality is one thing, the life we are in is another. One the Creator is us, the other, its Creator is the Originator of all that is, was, or will be, the Mighty Supreme Being. Unlike virtual reality, we feel everything because we are supposed to feel as it is, to be like the Real deal for us. Why? So that the good comes out from the bad. The power-hungry narcists come out from the beautiful Soul. God does not punish unjustly, our actions do. Our actions decide what happens to us once we wake up from this reality and realize what we have done. If you are wondering why you are even here since you did not choose this? *This might shock you, you choose to be in it. If you are already in this world, there is nobody to blame for that except you.* Quran:33:72 * Indeed, We offered the trust [The acceptance of obligations and obedience to God] to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they ˹all˺ declined to bear it, being fearful of it. But humanity assumed it, ˹for˺ they are truly wrongful ˹to themselves˺ and ignorant ˹of the consequences˺, One might say, why God forces us to worship him. Well, God does not force anyone anything. This is the whole reason we are here for. We are given an option to accept or reject, Free Will. God’s commands are for the benefit of us. He does not order except Good and does not prohibit except the bad. Quran:7:28 And when they commit an immorality, they say, "We found our fathers doing it, and God has ordered us to do it." Say, *"Indeed, God does not order immorality. Do you say about God that which you do not know?"* He is the maker of this Universe and he set the laws for how one can obtain the maximum benefit from it. Imagine the instruction manual of an Airplane. For example, praying, doing charity, helping the poor, fasting, etc. All help us have re-orient ourselves back to our purpose. We are not here to make mansions that we will leave tomorrow if these will make us forget why we are here for. We are here to be the best humans we can be, helping others, taking care of the animals and environment, etc. What happens when we stop connecting to our Creator and be mindful of why we come here for? We forget ourselves. We forget why we come here for. We become like animals, without purpose with the majority of us thinking we are here to make more money, own more houses, more bling, etc. It is simple cause and effect. We ignore to follow God’s instruction manual for this reality, in time God will have no role in our calculations and this will cause us to forget the purpose we come here for. Quran 59:20 *And be not like those who forgot God, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.* You want something in return for going through this Reality. What is that thing? Well, we don’t know the magnitude of it but imagine the power and capability of the originator of all that is, was, or will be. That thing is one of the if not the best Reward that Supreme Being gives for those who excel.

.. Gems from Quran _ [Summary of life]_ *57:20** Know that this worldly life is no more than **_PLAY, AMUSEMENT, LUXURY, mutual boasting, and competition in wealth and children._** This is like rain that causes plants to grow, to the delight of the planters. But later the plants dry up and you see them wither, then they are reduced to chaff. And in the Hereafter there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness and pleasure of God, whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment.* _[What is in it for us]_ *57:21** Race [i.e., compete] toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and God is the possessor of great bounty.* _[Every possible scenario is covered and written.]_ 57:22 No calamity ˹or blessing˺ occurs on earth or in yourselves without being ˹written˺ in a Record before We bring it into being. This is certainly easy for God. *57:23** We let you know this˺ so that you neither grieve over what you have missed nor boast over what He has granted you. For God does not like whoever is arrogant, boastful* _Atheism = Ride out till it ends and see what happens._ *Islam = Prepare for Journey that you have already embarked on from the day you come into this world inside a baby.* A journey that will continue after you leave the body. It is a journey you have chosen on your own which will have only 2 outcomes, success or failure. *Islam is the Cheat Sheet on how to live this Reality no matter what hand you are given and come out with all aces.* *Forgot to mention, if you are still thinking about proving God here in this reality. Think of Super Mario proving the programmer who created the game he is in. This will never happen. We are absolutely limited by the reality we are in.*
