I suggest "Penelope" for one of the villagers! It means "weaver" and also fits the theme of the Fates, since she's a character in The Odyssey "Webster" would be fun, too, or maybe "Weber", a German name also meaning "weaver"

If you want villager names, you can use Casandra! She was blessed by Apollo with the gift of prophecy, but when she refused his love he cursed her so that no one would believe her prophecies ^^ or you can use the names of the Three Fates: Cloto, Laquesis and Atropos

Villagers and horses wont cross carpets on top of berry bushes. So if you plant them in front of your door it will stop the villagers from escaping! The banner looks kind of like an eclipse. So maybe you can name the banner after the April 8th eclipse. Did you get to see it?
