They did around 2009 or so. I believe that the model was called the Vette. Multiple colorways were released, but the shoe only lasted a handful of seasons. Bulky shoes, even as a retro release, just weren't selling as well for many companies.

@@ianturnbow7011 it didnt work at the time because phat skate shoes were starting to die out but if they released the Vette now it would sell out faaast. e'S and DC have been retroing alot of shoes the past two years and almost all of them sell out with a quickness. Nostalgia junkies like myself collect all the older style shoes. I don't foresee phat skate shoes making a full comeback anytime soon but now that they've been off the market almost a decade the fans have been fiending for them to come back.

I still got a few fresh pairs of Emerica Ellington 1s and 2s. I've sold most of my collection, but some shoes I wont ever let go. Too bad those EE3's never dropped, those looked like they'd be super sick. Erik was always such a nice guy whenever I saw him in my skateboarding days, I'll never forget his kindness. One of the best ever!

Old Emerica shoes looked so much better than their current design language.. Padded up in all the right places with catchy colorways... I feel like es has taken up the mantle of what Emerica once was.

Eirk, quit acting like we could have the original Ellingtons whenever we want. If & that a bug IF they show up on ebay, they are never brand new & rarely in adult size 11. And finally if all those stars align they will be easily over $300.. *So as a collector of my former past= I rely on people who sell what they don't know they have.
