Hedgehogs dont make a great pet for kids I say younger then 12 or 11 because they are very sharp and hurt your hands and young kids can drop them and hurt them so If your thinking about getting you kids a pet hedgie make them hold a spiky hedgehog first so they now

My hedgie won't lay down on his back. He is always tries to get out of it. He also don't like bath he is always trying to escape. But he is not scared of me though. I hope he will enjoh the baths someday

aren't you overdoing the clipping ? beware that the nails are different than human nails. the front legs are really more a problem than the others - at least in regular hedgehogs. Not fond of animals in captivity anyway.
