I think you did a beautiful job! I really love the color selection and the way you form the nails is perfect! I guarantee you that the majority of people giving you any hate are either jealous, underneath the age 25, or they really don't know what they're talking about. I see a ton of these acrylic tutorials, & you are definitely one of my favorites! The back third of the Almond shape isn't bulky or wide, and it looks perfectly smooth over the top! Beautiful work!

I grew up being taught to not take offense 2 copying others ideas. it is a compliment to the person who created it. when my siblings would copy my coloring page I would get upset. My mother would say they love your idea they think that your coloring is beautiful it's a compliment and they would like to try it as well because you had a good idea. don't take offense to it. I remember thinking about what my mother said and then feeling good that other people thought my coloring was pretty. After that I never viewed copying as a bad thing but rather a compliment to someone else's idea. no need to be nasty.

Oh my gosh!! I'm a new subscriber and I also watch Suzie's channel. I was going to ask you how you attached the lights on the wall because I wanted to do the same thing. I left a comment asking Suzie but never got an answer. I couldn't believe when you started talking about her inspiring you and people making nasty comments!! The whole point of making videos, in my opinion, is to "show what you know" and share that with others. Obviously it's polite to give credit to another person if you do something similar or were inspired by them to do something, but for people to criticize you is just plain rudeness on their part! Anyway, if you wouldn't mind telling me how to attach the lights, I'd greatly appreciate it! (It's actually for a walk in my house, not my nail videos) Thank you in advance!! 💜💅
@thenailsqueen7 жыл бұрын
Sharon Hoelzle thanks so much for the love and support and for the sweet comment. I used pins to randomly pin the lights to the wall and I put them behind 4 layers of shimmery translucent fabric, it took some work but it was totally worth it, hope it helps :) happy holidays

I did this in a bedroom once, as a accent wall, and I used small command hooks to do mine. It's those plastic hooks that stick to the walls like super glue, but when you pull the tabs, it comes right off. I rented and didn't want to put any holes in the walls, or I wouldn't get my deposit back!~
@StitchesbySharonH7 жыл бұрын
Toni Dill Ooh, I always forget about them!! That's a great idea - now I just need to convince my husband that the room will look so much prettier with them!! You wouldn't happen to have advice on that, would you? Lol!! I have to find a way to make him think it was his idea.... 😜
@tonidill51977 жыл бұрын
Lol I'm not married, so i don't have that problem, if I think it looks good, i just do it haha. I move often, about every 5 years, and I like to come up with creative ways to hide ugly paint that landlords put on walls. And this way is cheap and doesn't damage the walls

She won first place too. THAT IS STEALING. Did I make a big fuss about about? NOPE

I couldn't have cared less about what you used as a background, I knew it was inspired by Susie, as you Had mentioned it in your other videos. With that being said though, I don't click on anyone's videos to hear a 2 minute, unsolicited lecture and explanation on your set and acceptable behavior.. that if I want to see the fall nails that I clicked on... I have to sit thru. I just want the nail art and techniques....not the drama. That is such a turn off for me, no matter how nice the nails look. 😡
