I think the idea is that Thena and the goddess she’s based on is supposed to be a master battlefield strategist, so she rewards you for carefully coordinating how you play your cards.

Have you considered doing something like a snap all stars video where you do real quick lore summaries for a few of the snap cards that are staples in the game but very obscure from before you started these videos? For instance, characters like jeff, zabu, iron lad, hood etc. who are very frequently seen but people dont know about? It could be less detail than these videos but i think theyd be very cool because seriously who tf is Zabu.

I don't think there's really much to Zabu past his connection to Kazar who is like the actual important character. Zabu is just kind of his pet sabertooth cat who goes on adventures with him. I think they could easily be combined into one episode if Nando decided to do it though.

I honestly liked what they did with Thena in the movie: I thought Angelina Jolie brought a cute playful energy to the character and they brought an allegory about mental illness seen as dangerous that I thought was the most compelling part of the movie

I'd love to see you tackle Nico Minoru for 2 reasons: 1) the original run of The Runaways is my favorite comic. 2) I have no idea where she went to after they rescued Clara (give us a new volume damit!), but I'm aware she has showed up in other stuff, including one or two of Arcade's Murderworlds.

Nando, SD said Ikarus isnt in this season bc theyre planning on doing another Eternals season at some point and they already had gilgamesh designed so they didnt want 2 "strong dudes" in the same season

I think for her abilities, they just figured the playerbase could compare her to Angela visually, so might as well make a different version of Angela in an ability too

I know their ability don’t make any direct/obvious connection to anything from the comics or the movie but so far I really like them a lot! And I assume we would get the other 5 eternals from the movie and the dreaming celestial in a season next year or sometime. Would you ever make a video “fan casting”/theorizing what their powers could be/what you would like them to be?

It would make a lot of sense to fold the Eternals into Thor stories. They're connected through all the gods stuff and with Love having/being Eternity it can connect to all the higher beings of the universe including the celestials.

These videos got me to play snap, I've never gotten into a card game before but this is so addicting! I just got my day 7 magneto and I recently got to gold. I like how each series has its own meta and you can either try to incorporate the new cards into your current deck or build something completely new. I'm getting some series 2 cards and running a hybrid of devil dino and destroy that works pretty well somehow

The Eternals can in fact have children. They just can’t have children with each other. For example, Ikaris is the father of the mythological Icarus, taking on his son’s name to honor his death.

Enjoying a bounce deck with Gillgamesh, though you can't often get a lot of activations out of him. This looks better in that area, but we already have Collector and Angela in this capacity. Sage is an option too. And Cull.

Y'know, I'd give the eternals another chance in the mcu is they took the group that went into space and gave them a thor: ragnarok or Guardians of the galaxy style movie, but I'm part of a weird subset of fans who doesn't care if the movie is super great as long as its fun. The eternals and thor 2 were the only mcu movies I didn't like, including the recent ones

A lot has been changed for the movie with the intention of making it relevant to current society. The movie turned out to be the most irrelevant of all MCU films IMO. Angelina Jolie looks amazing in the role though.
