Really glad you pointed out that MOST of us really consider what we pump into the river/canal and if we are putting anything in there we use ECO products that won't harm fish and any aquatic lifeforms. How fantastic is the Oxygen album? I was actually going to mention that some of your music reminds me of that album, but I thought it might have been a little too obscure - I thought I’d sound like a nob lol. I've just taken delivery of a new Mobility Scooter been so looking forward to its arrival but it has left me quite depressed because I just loved the look and its performance but just an hour after the Delivery/Engineer person left I noticed a cracking sound coming from the front beneath the tiller(Yes mobility scooters have tillers as well) and I quickly phoned him but he said he was already an hour away up the motorway and couldn't get back Grrrrr

Enjoyed these past two little vlogs was nice to have a few questions answered and get to know you guys a little better! Was also nice to see jakki again even though we know she doesn’t like it! For weather I use yr.no you can change the language to english type in city name and get Up to 14 days forecast. I used in Africa and here home, pretty acurate 👍

Used GarageBand for years. Really didn’t know what I was doing for quite awhile until I got better internet and could watch how to use vids. Now I’ve upgraded to macs Logic. For me I’m into the natural sounds of my acoustic instruments. Well that is what I do. I jam at least once a week with friends . Hammered Dulcimer, fiddle, viola , I use to have a loaner Cello, viola, button accordion, squeeze box, banjo, upright bass, penny whistles, guitars, banjo are what will be found at sessions. If I had an electric guitar it would be one that sounds best clean. That said I do enjoy your tunes. They feel good to the ear.

I love trying to spot your double entendre's. They are so subtle, well most of them are. Some stand out like Chapel hat pegs and poke you in the eye. I like it when you talk dirty... all that tow path mud and the grey stuff that drains out of your sink. Great. A wise move away from those trees. That ivy creeper affects the majority of trees these days and acts like a sail in the wind. Very dangerous. Loved the bit on your music ,you should definitely try composing more. During the pandemic I found my self listening to more music online and I discovered three new to me artists who I thoroughly recommend .#1 is Morgan James ,a singer of Jazz/blues has donea few albums and alot of covers she is a Juillard alumnae, she has a fantastic vocal range is a Juillard alumnae she sings sometimes with The Post Modern Jukebox Second #2 is Tatiana Eve Marie ,she is Swiss but has lived in Paris but now Brooklyn NY she is enchanting and sings in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stephan Crapellii and 1930/40 French Gypsy Jazz. She has her own band called Avalon Jazz Band. #3 is Anne Reeburn a young very talented girl who sings a lot of covers acapella with up to 5 clones of herself mostly classic pop songs. Sometime you should sample them . BTW Milk/rum man has been . Great vlog Take care stay safe XXX

Glad you've "weathered the storm(s)" - I always laugh when people worry about our power going out here, because that's the worst of it (granted that means heat and water pump too). We've "camped out" for 6 days at a stretch while it was -8C outside and got down to 22C inside, but it just meant wearing all your layers and putting a few quilts on while you slept by the fireplace. (We'd keep a couple of 5 gal DIY buckets in the basement with water for flushing toilets). Haven't had the power out for any significant stretch in probably 10 years since they trimmed the bush around the lines. 😉Also helped with trees falling across the road. (It's a dead-end road and we're in an old hardwood forest). But I'd certainly be more worried on a boat, and as every channel I've watched with live-aboards worrying about Dudley et al, I can see it's serious business.

It’s part of the excitement though isn’t …. That all sounds fun getting your buckets to flush the loo haha and cosying up by the fire ….. it’s currently 35mph winds here now and the boat is blowing about a lot but when it gets to 50 and 60 it feels like being on the high seas … I love it 😂😂

@@TheNarrowboatPirate I had a 500lb motorcycle in a parking lot with a tarp over it that got blown up and over its centerstand in 50mph winds once. Was laying on the ground wrapped up like a burrito with no way to grab onto it and set it upright. Pretty sure I pulled my back, but I was young and stupid (20?) and got it upright again. 80mph would start shaking my old house on its foundations though. (Nothing rocks this one unless a tree falls in the forest, which gives a thump). We're nestled in good with a hill and trees that break up all the weather. Tornadoes coming straight for us break up long before they get to this area, because it's just too lumpy/bushy to keep blowing without losing momentum. 😉
