Number 3 is the best because it references the older adds when Irn Bru was made from girders. My favourite is still the ad with the train unable to leave the station because the girlfriend is holding on to say a longer goodbye

The musical ones were funny at the time because they were direct parodies of what was coming from America at the time ie. High School Musical and the Pepsi ads that used pop stars. My favourite part of the whole vid was at the end of the "Disney" one when we got to see what you both had for your dinner! LOL. One of the best reactions to this video I have seen.

The musical numbers were direct parodies of US style Coke/ Pepsi adverts, and the Snowman one was a very clever re-imagining of the animated film of the The Snowman- which is a Chrisrmas favourite in the UK. In this version the snowman was passing well known Scottish landmarks.

The Irn Bru factory is about a 10 minute drive from my house! Love the Irn Bru adverts! So funny, especially the Fanny one! Not a huge fan of the Snowman but it's very well done. Full of Scottish landmarks. You would probably need to watch the Snowman to get the advent.

Hi Natasha and Debbie, glad you like our adverts here in the U.K. Irn Bru is my favourite drink. I have just re-watched your reaction to our Marmite ads too, your reactions are so funny. I’m lucky enough to live in Burton upon Trent where Marmite is made. When I was a child ( over 50 years ago ) the Marmite factory used to give free jars of it to all the children under 10. So I grow up loving it, it’s extremely good for you as it has vitamins in it especially B12. The reason it’s made in Burton is because we have/ had loads of Breweries so the used yeast is taken from the Breweries to the Marmite factory while they are still warm. I hope you found this interesting. 😊😊

That was a later version of the snowman ad. In the first version shown, there was a long delay and a hand just barely reaches out, so it implies that he could be badly hurt. There must have been complaints so next year the boy is shown to be okay. At the add agency when they came up with the idea, some people didn't want to show the boy reappearing at all so you wouldn't know if the boy was dead. So the first weak hand version was a compromise.

Hi, my favorite is the butcher & the snowman. The cracks about Americans is a dig at them not having the no1 drink in Scotland. Coke Cola and Pepsi come after irn Bru. We're the only place on the planet that those two aren't no1. Btw Fanny was shortened version of Frances, a few generations back. No6 was a take on high school musical.
