Thailand’s Khon at the Royal Albert Hall

The Royal Khon Performance from Thailand stages at the Royal Albert Hall in London on June 18, 2015. The one-night show is part of “Totally Thai” festival hosted by Culture, Foreign Affairs and Tourism and Sport ministries of Thailand. The festival is celebrating the 60th birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and to mark 160 years of relations between Thailand and UK.

For those ignorant cambodians, Khon was introduced to cambodia during the reign of ang duong who was raised in Bangkok and was promoted by Thai royal court as a king of thai vassal state, thai is cambodia, ang duong bring Thai Khon teacher to cambodia and that's how it was started. During Khmer rouge cambodian culture was nearly wiped out including Khon, you have to ask for help from Thai Khon master to reintroduce it. Study history and be grateful to Thai masters and most of all stop being childish you are all making cambodia look stupid.

Otherwise Cambodian will steal it and submit to UNESCO. Then you fake originator will have nothing to Claim. Thai calls Cambodia as Claimbodia and Cambodia calls Thailand as Thiefland. Be careful Thiefland, otherwise Claimbodia will submit all of what we copy from you to UNESCO and all you can do is to comment on KZbin only. Thai tattoos has been developed in Thailand at least since Ayutthaya period. We have many evidences such as old textbooks about the yantras used in tattooing which I don't think cambodia has it.(But the cambodian always use Angkor Wat to claim everything belong to them which is stupid ) The scripts used in tattoos are alphabets from ancient kingdom which existed in Thailand , laos , and cambodia , but the cambodian claim to be the only successor which is not right. People in Thailand , laos and cambodia are successors from those ancient kingdoms equally. Besides, the scripts used in thai tattoos are different from the scripts in cambodia and the writing uses thai grammar not cambodia's. We both recieved the alphabets from the ancient kingdom and developed on each one differently.
