Thank you for this. The vet went straight for surgery advice and I wanted to try to find another solution.

Not to say that surgery isn’t an option for some, in some cases, but they claimed there were no other options, and as a biohacker I know that’s often not the case. Your video confirms that and I appreciate that. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.

My 16 year old yellow lab hasn't ever had her teeth cleaned. Her gums and teeth have always been healthy. In 2017 I adopted a rescue chihuahua and because I've seen so many chis with horrible mouths or even no teeth at all, I had her perfectly white teeth and healthy gums cleaned. The vet raved about how good her teeth and gums were. Didn't have my lab done because of her age and risk of anesthesia -- vet agreed with that decision. Now, just over a year later, my chi has a brown buildup on what were pearly white teeth prior to the cleaning. No changes in her diet, etc. -- just the cleaning. Her gums are still healthy at this point. Now I'm questioning -- can't help it. I'll keep digging before I consider another cleaning. Appreciate the tips on maintaining the healthy mouth. I am going to look at your videos on a home prepared and eventually raw food diet. Appreciate your focus on taking a natural approach with our pets.

Thank you so much for this very informative video! Thanks for caring for our fury babies. We stopped the kibble and industrial/commercial food and the overall health really improved a lot 🎉

My 9 year old cat was diagnosed with tooth resorption 2 years ago and vets want to pull 13-15 teeth. He has had a clean, blood tests and urine tests as they found he may have early kidney disease. I have been using homeopathy and he seems ok but sometimes I notice he may still be in discomforts. I want to of course putting him under anaesthesia again. What do you recommend? Should I go ahead with the extractions? He is also overweight. He is a big bengal cat and has been raw fed for the past 3 years.

Hello! I'm a subscriber from Spain. I've been feeding my 2 beauties natural food for 2 years which has eliminated ear inflammation for my beagle puppy who was suffering painful ear "infections on and on until I was recommended to change her diet. Since this, she hasn't had one single ear episode so this has proven a lot to me. I am totally in favor of food as medicine for them and my family. My mini pincher is 8. And us having a lot of teeth extraction and gum inflammation. Food hasn't helped. I'm afraid I wasn't giving them raw bones so now I don't think it is an option since he has some broken teeth which have to be removed. His breath is a bit smelly soooo maybe your recommendation of co q10 is an option for us. I've read that the older the dog, the more difficult to produce this coenzyme so it would be better to give it ubiquinol. Could you recommend me what is better to start with? Thank you 🙏🏼 I'd love to learn more if you have a book or resouces that I can buy, I'd love to know.

took my 16 year old cat in for dental cleaning and was told she has one deep pocket in the upper left canine tooth. Vet said the root is fine but should be pulled because it will cause an abscess within 6 months. I said no the extraction, but not sure if it was the right thing to do :( I was thinking I could help her keep her tooth by daily cleaning and all the natural remedies. I still can’t help to think maybe should have pulled her tooth out. So hard! Wish this was happening to me instead of her!

My 18 year old cat Martin had terrible breath. Even with a no corn,soy,wheat, or grains since age 2. I bought fresh breath water additive for his filtered water as chlorine ruins microbiome. It worked a little so I tried Wysongs Dental Treat powder and BINGO! 95% better in two weeks. Found wysong at Cheweys and it is made by a vet since 1976.

Its wheat glutens not soy that I see a lot of. Dont forget glyphodate is in grains and was patented as an antibiotic by Monsanto. My kibble rocks! with 60% protein. Just add warm water and it becomes wet food. Its also Wysong product. zero fillers or carbs. No I dont work for them...just love my cats. Feed TWICE A DAY. NO FREE FEEDING ALL DAY.

What do you think about Emmi-pet ultrasonic brush❓
@thenaturalpetdoctor Жыл бұрын
I’m not familiar with it so I can’t give an opinion either way. As long as it’s quiet then it may be a good option, but usually you have to get your pets used to it.

So is gas anesthesia good for dental cleaning?
@late_apexx9 ай бұрын
Good as in safe ? Or good as in effective, because that's 2 different situations. Gas may not be a safe option for certain dogs. Maybe they require IV sedation. Or maybe sedation is not safe at all for your dog depending on many factors (overall health, health conditions they have, recent blood work and age to name a few)

Yes my kitty has stomatitis and has had 5 teeth removed this year almost 500$ n I was told he may have to have more removed and if he starts crying again and not wanting to eat to call the vet and they will prescribe more liquid steroids. Im tryn to do a more natural remedy first bcz I don't think it's good on his organs to just b doing regular steroids. So thnx alot for this video!!

@@laurimcquitty-ux6tt I’m sorry your kitty is dealing with this. Here’s another video that you might find helpful since stomatitis can also be related to gut health issues: kzbin.infoUbTKw9r_xl4?si=xAf9L2h1uJSUDMI9

my cat just had her teeth cleaning done today and cleaning alone cost $500 (not including blood work $300). Another cat of mine had his teeth cleaned and had 5 tooth extractions, cost $1600. Vet cost is outrageous!
