Solving world hunger is more complicated than people think, you can't just give money/food again and again and expect that to solve the problem. Giving food aid is already hard since you need to account for varying factors like transportation, geological location, quantity & quality of the food... the list goes on and on. Food supplies and money will run out with time so you can't keep that going. That is not an efficient way to solve world hunger. What actually needs to be done is improve their agricultural potential. Teach them how to grow their own crops in hard-to-grow regions, water management/irrigation, making sure their water sources are of good quality, checking the soil, flood & drought monitoring, etc. NASA already does all of this. A lot of the research and innovation NASA does for space exploration, astronaut wellbeing, studying plants in space, and Earth observation ultimately helps humanity overall. And it's not just NASA, space agencies frequently collaborate and/or independently do their own research to improve food security.
