1y later I’m just seeing this; clicked the link (which does work) and this nifty little switch is going for a measly $25 rn! Thanks for the video and making me aware of this. One suggestion, tho… if you’re going to talk about a power budget, you should mention how much power each of those devices is using so people can get a feel for how many cameras/phones/etc. they can power with this switch. (Hint: Not too late to address that in the video description and/or as a reply to a comment.)

The $25 one is 100mbit not Gigabit. The gigabit one is 42.99 right now.

every devices has different voltages does it step down the voltage for devices cause it seems that you're plugging in everything

Poe is a standard and 48v is normal. If the device doesn’t use POE it won’t send the current. Some UniFi devices use low power 24v POE which it does not do - and is being phased out generally in the market.

Does that one have an integrated power supply or wall brick? My 8 port here is cool as a cucumber 🥒 so maybe something is up?

No SFP+ ports = no buy

Hard to say - SFP+ has a place but for simple POE and low cost gigabit switches it’s a seldom used extravagance.
