Really? Because my evangelical Christian family members have suffered more pain, both physical and financial, than anyone else in our family. "The Lord," which I'm assuming you mean is the American-version of a Christian deity as opposed to other types of religious deities, sure has not taken care of them. Sad, but there you go. I guess your "Lord" must only choose some people for good lives while leaving others to despair and pain.

I know this is due to time constraints that the episode on Bob Rogers was short. But Forensic Files did an episode on this case with so much more detail. Like how Sharon went back a few hours later to look for more money and moved Bob's body and that's why he was found the way he was, with arms stretched and some mixing of old and new blood. And also they scrutinized that belt thoroughly. Also, police found out that Sharon was spending lavishly on clothes and cars and vacations she cannot afford. Anyway, good job to all law enforcement involved. I just can't wrap my head around the depths of greed and evilness one person can have to betray a friend.

Emerick(?) reminds me of a term I heard as a girl from a Southerner, a tush hog. A mean ugly thug. I like this police dept, compared with other depts in similar circumstances, they didn't put the wife who called them in handcuffs and interrogate her, give her and give her polygraph before she was let go. Makes me very angry. Love the way they tell these stories with just the right amount of interviews. Asking for help from a church sounds a lot different than 'conning', wonder if the police thinks so, they might see it the same thing.
