Nice video Colin 🎣🤘. Pike on the fly rod is wicked 👌, I haven't court a Grayling on a fly rod. I have tried oh so many times, it was always the trotting method . 1 or 2 red or white maggots, suspended under a float, my p.b in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 was 3lb 2oz . And what a fight 😊 , I thought I hooked in a big brown trout 😃 . In England the colour of the dorsal Finn has more of, a irradiated blue tinge. We also called them, ladies of the rivers .

Best way to get the big trout is to catch the grayling , keep them alive and then put a circle hook in them and send them down! Trout candy!

The graylings tall dorsal makes me wonder what they use it for…sailfish rear their prey and change color…hmm

During the spawning males cover females with the dorsal fin, it helps to keep females close.
