Wish the south shore had as many big brookies as up there. I have caught some nice ones, but they are few and far between (maybe a better fisherman knows better though).

No stocked lakes in LABRADOR, you want massive , native trout ? Some of the biggest ,consistent size brook trout in the world as well as other species here. You will NOT be disappointed .

They were using Orvis Helios 3 rods in six or seven weights. Hope this helps

So what was it...Chinook or silver salmon? Silver salmon = Coho. King salmon = Chinook. They are not the same.

When explaining the rigging system at the 22 minute mark of the KZbin video, he talks about a large arbor real and a poly leader. It would have been just as or more understandable if he just said a large diameter real with a weighted, sinking leader attached loop to loop... Is he trying to be fancy or just trying to deter people from fly fishing. I noticed how many people looked up what he said after the video quite a few. Otherwise I loved the entire video. Tremendous fish I'm from Maine and I wish they had those here.

Hate being that guy, buts its been proven that protective slime will be rubbed off with tailing gloves. Worried for those big beautiful brook trout. Great show though. Love the new fly fisher.

what should they have done, other than just not make the episode to begin with? The purpose is to show off a world famous river, and the guide service that utilizes the fishery is clearly accepting of it. They cant really be less obvious about the spot with how the bridge is right there, and other spot-identifiers.
