Look, it is Hindavi and not Hindu Swaraj for a reason. HINDAVI SWARAJ translates to the Self Governance by the people of Hind(India). That includes the muslims. My ancestors were senapatis in Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's Court. There was a clear rule, that no temple, mosque, Geeta or Quran should be disrespected. That is why we call The founder of Hindavi Swaraj Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj, our Aradhya Daivat. So please don't align him with BJP hindutva of divide and rule. Hindavi Swaraj was about Unite and rule. Unite everyone irrespective of religion, caste, creed, gender, and all who stand up against oppression. Oppression of the Deccan powers of Adilshahi and Qutubshahi, and Mughals, who used us, Maratha Sardars to fight with each other.

Shivaji is about Hindvi swarajya, Don't try to fit him into your stupid definition of "secularism", any hindu will be open to different prarthna paddhati (ways to offer prayers), but don't mislead people into thinking he was "secular" like any communists. And don't try to portray shivaji as some local leader who fought against DELHI for self governance, Shivaji's self governance was against Delhi's ISLAMIC rule, Marathas even ruled over delhi between 1757 and 1803,and why would they do that if shivaji was about local self governance, Shivaji's swarajya was always about HINDVI swarajya, he was against casteism just like any other sane person doesn't mean you can equate his anti-casteism with communists/congress's anti-casteism(anti-Bhrahmin).
