I'm not from TZ but in the US if the companies are publicly traded on a stock exchange then they're open to public scrutiny because if you're going to invest your money in them the company has a fiduciary responsibility to fully report finances, top personnel, profits and losses holding back only secrets that competitors in the marketplace could use. Additionally, if a company gets certain kinds of government subsidies or grants they're reporting requirements become public. Also a lot of privately held firms employ press agents to expose them to the public to improve their public perception.
