We finally learn why Belle was lying about Garrett being her soulmate. Her real soulmate before, John, died, causing her to revert back to seeing in black and white. Unable to stand being alone, she used Garrett to help ease her loneliness.

YEESSSSS FINALLY!! I'd been wondering if we would just never know what happened with them since there's been two acts without them in sight, but I was so hyped when I saw the thumbnail!! Belle had a really sympathetic backstory (and I like that you went with the headcanon that you lose your ability to see colors when your soulmate dies, that's one I don't see often!) but that doesn't mean she should steal someone's soulmate because she lost hers, and I'm glad that she understood this and said the truth. ALSO I think it was super interesting and well-done to show the conversation happen through the "world orb" (?) in the background while the deities were talking, it really got the point across and I think worked really well, really cinematographic, had me floored watching it! Now I'm a bit worried what their new plan is, are they going to make a new system, or erase it entirely and let humans figure out? I feel like in a world where humans have been raised following destiny for so many generations, suddenly being robbed of it would truly cause chaos and pain in the population, so it might be almost too late... though after a few generations, things would change. Hyped to see where you're going to take this series, it's my favourite you've ever done! (Also, I guess the deities CAN indeed see through multiple time periods at once, since it seems they can jump from after Jane and Ariel are adults, back to when they were younger when the situation with Miguel, Belle and Garrett happened)

Ooh, man, losing the ability to see colour when your soul mate dies is even more salt in the wound after losing someone you love! I can’t believe I haven’t even thought to over-think the repercussions of losing a soul mate in this world lmao! And what a cliff hanger you’ve given us this time! XD

Oh wow, this is great! Nice to see the continuation of Miguel's story. Poor Belle. I liked the grayscale effect consuming everything around Belle and eventually herself, as she is hugging dead John. And this raining over Belle, albeit coming from the original, just adds to the atmosphere. I wonder why did he die in the first place? Judging by these visions of during the Cosmos talking, Belle admitted she was lying, right? That's actually really sad to think that one person has only one soulmate in their life. I guess it's truly horrific to lose them.

Love it love it love it !!!!! Ah, though in this case Belle mostly used him to ease her own loneliness and tricked him into a relationship using his blindness, it's hard to hold it against her in this kind of desperate situation, where almost everyone wants the one person who's tailor-made for them, and losing that person is a pretty much dead-end for any romantic relationship from them on. Still, for what you can see in the orb she came clean, and while I understand why Garreth was mad, thinking that they've been in a relationship for who knows how long yet as soon as he fins his "real" soulmate all those feelings cultivated evaporated and he happily moved onto his true love; in short, soulmates is a lot more of a fucked up concept that people give it credit for lol can't wait to see what's the next move of Logos, really loving everything about this so far !!

This concept and series is so beautiful and interesting. I can't imagine having a soulmate die like that. My question is did Belle and John know they were soulmates and Belle saw color, but then it faded when John died? Or did Belle figure it out only after John had died and so never saw color at all? Oh lol I guess I should have read the description of the video, but still really good. This is an amazing series and the concept is so original, thank you for making these videos :)
