Still listening to this four years later after COVID and after going through most of my PhD program. This song sends me to another place. I feel closer to God listening to this. I feel at peace. I feel a sense of triumph once the drums and synths kick in before the final chorus. I feel liberated despite the various responsibilities weighing me down. The music video itself has so much symbolism and nostalgia that it would take me several hours to articulate how it makes me feel and why.
