Bryce Wettstein | The Nine Club

Patti McGee had an early influence and impact on young Bryce. Especially her handstand skating ability. Bryce practiced that non-stop for years and now it's one of her favorite things to do at events for the locals and kids. We were fortunate to spend a lot of time with Patti and Bryce even had a Silly Girl skateboards kinship with her. Patti was also a fellow surfer and surfing icon. Patti even made it to Bryce's turning Pro party. Patti shined a bright light of positivity and kindness to Bryce and all those around her. I am so glad she was able to tribute her legacy during this podcast, filmed shortly before Patti moved on to a higher place. May Patti ride in peace while her legacy lives on forever. Hailey and her family are in our thoughts.

my first day working at the enci ymca i helped quarter mother remove some of the wood from the old vert ramp. worked at the park thru high school and a few years after, went down hill from the glory days but still a solid place to work. bryce was always the nicest and made everyone smile. miss that place
