As the father of a 12 year old who is just getting in to skating, it makes me so happy that my girl has a young lady like this to look up to, my kid wants to skate at the 2024 Olympics because Lizzie is in the Olympics, up until I told her that she had no interest in any sports at all, now she skates daily, makes me skate daily its sick.

This is probably one of the most interesting interviews I’ve seen on the Nine Club, a first where a skater wasn’t heavily influenced by skate videos, she just loves skateboarding... mainly because of Lizzie being a skateboarder that loves transition skating (bowl, vert, and now loop) we can’t really criticize her just because she didn’t watch skateboarding videos in her era she grew up in (where the skate videos that mainly released were all street parts.) So I can understand why she wasn’t watching all those skate videos that you and I enjoyed, she was probably busy mastering her form skateboarding in transition with the skateboarders around her. And look at her now, we are all talking about her 🛹

Depends on where you are. Usually only schools right by the beach. San Clemente is a good example. Skate AND Surf P.E. Either go to the park after lunch, or go to the beach before school.

I'm in Australia and we had skate P.E at my high school, every Wednesday one of the teachers would drive a minibus to the indoor park a few suburbs away, it was sick, there was no grading or marks, everyone got an A+ as long as they skated. Only A I ever got.

At least that's my take on it. I don't see it as a problem honestly, and a lot of the time it happens naturally for people.
