Globe pumped out some sick cruiser boards recently. Also, on the shoe brands posting skateboarding photos/content... Vans took me 25 posts to find a skateboard.. Etnies, almost all posts are skateboarding. Some brands went super mainstream, some still support core skating.

Holy crap! Kelly turned pro at 30!?!?!? That's crazy! Look man in my opinion. Starting from the age of 10 years old. This is how I think the scale of a skateboarders career should run. 10-15yro = FLOW YEARS 16 - 18 = AMATEUR (AM) YEARS (NO later then 25) 19+ years old = PROFESSIONAL (PRO) YEARS. If a skater that's been regularly skating. On a daily basis from the age of 10. And being active in skate contests and events. In hope to seek a professional career as a skateboarder. But never got pass "am" or "flow" status by their mid 20's. Better be starting to think of the ALTERNATIVE to their career choices. Because the odds of you turning "Pro" is pretty SLIM at that point.
