Hi both, wasn't that a great video, I know the locks well I'm on a 60x10 wide beam and it is tight on the St Neots lock for me but I do get through. If you need to use a lock landing in emergencies then do it. I have with no problems. If you take your centre line to the stern of your boat it will make life a lot easier at locks.😊

Just a comment, not a criticism, pull your fenders , ie tyres, out the water when cruising they are causing unnecessary drag , therefore your engine will have to work harder than it needs, and useing more fuel, 😁👍

CRT won't do jack ...just navigate and use your iniitiave...also batteries, alternaorn and and antifreeze are priorities for winter.... everything else is vanity and aschetics
