A little note to add, we met Madame Xanadu back in season 1 in the Dr Fate episode. Kent Nelson went to her to speak to his dead wife Inza and exposed Xanadu as a charlatan before being attacked by Abra Kadabra. Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but I wanted to

Ah, that's the thing with Gar, it's not just Conner and Wally that died, it's also his mum (mindcontrolled into driving off a cliff by Queen Bee between seasons one and two), his adopted mum Rita Farr (who M'gann's sister based her look on) and her team (the Doom Patrol), all died as well, except for his adopted dad (Mento) who he was shown to be on bad terms with last season. So yeah, he's only 16 or so by this point and has already clocked up like 8 dead family members in like five years or less.

Phantom Stranger as a character his gimmick is being the most mysterious dude in the DCU. He has no real origin story, though one comic for him provided four possible origins for him while saying in the end none of them could be true.

You know what's funny? Klarion was wearing a suit back when they people were using animal fur as undewear. It's probable that the first person to ever make suit saw Klarion , or that Vandal was the first person to ever create a suit.

Yeah, interesting thing to note, a lot of the lore they have for the world of YJ isn’t canon in the comics. They made Vandal way more important to the history of the DC Universe in YJ.

Well, the Light wasn't a thing in mainstream comics until years after YJ first appeared. That said, I've always loved Vandal when he pops up in the mainstream comics of DC. Every use has always made me think of him as a classy classic villain.

Yeah, they really do mean Chaos and Order. It's a very Michael Moorcock usage. Which I love, as DC's higher beings are usually these obscure personifications while I always find Marvels' to be pretty easy to wrap my mind around.

Mary is generally called Mary Marvel, but was known as Sargent Marvel in this universe cause no reason to use her real name, and it fit with Billy being Captain Marvel.

I really love how much Young Justice expands on the DC lore, and Vandal Savages episodes are my favorite episodes. Hopefully season 5 comes out before 2030.

I like how they're surprised by Klarion being a Lord of Chaos and acting like Chris is clever for figuring out Tico is his anchor when this was all brought up in his literal first appearance. Like, yeah, the show didn't exactly go into that much detail on it, but this was all covered the first time Doctor Fate showed up in season 1.

I think it's more that the magic corner of DC lore is so SO much bigger and deeper- if only because it's been accumulating since the 1930s instead of "just" from the 1960s. DC just has more magic-based heroes, which also adds to the volume of lore.

One thing I REALLY wish was that we got more good moments from the Chaos side. We've seen that Order isn't good since season 1, but the show lacks for "Chaos isn't evil" moments.

Madam Xanadu was from season one when Kent Nelson was introduced as dr. Fate, the big blue guy is BD short for Blue Devil, and Mary is Billy Bastions step sibling.

Yellow is Order, Red is Chaos there is no good or evil involved they are on different axis'. Human society is build around order so we assign good to order and evil to chaos but that's not what's happening.

Ahhh it would seem that they forgot that not only is Clarion a Lord of CHAOS, but that Dr. Fate (Nabu; the spirit in the Helmet of Fate) is a Lord of ORDER. They both reside in this world therefore creating balance; Child showing up upsets that balance. Also shocked they remembered Lady Xanadu from her one appearance in Season 1 Episode 7, but they did mix up Kent Nelson and Zatanna’s actual father Zatara who is currently wearing the Helmet of Fate. Kent Nelson was the previous wearer of the Helmet until he died protecting Wally and resided in the Helmet as a spirit until they could find a suitable candidate for the Helmet. When Kent refused to let Nabu keep Zatanna’s body his spirit was finally released into the afterlife; causing Zatara to take on the burden of the Helmet to spare his daughter

Hey Navi. The entity inside The Helm of Fate is named NABU. NOBU is a character from the Daredevil series. Mary is Billy Batson’s (Captain Marvel’s/Shazam’s) older adoptive sister.

What’s impressive is he beat all of those offspring by himself without one removing him by attacking the cat etc. he’s that good and under played. He beat tons of metas easy. Also he seems like chaos in reboot. I love series that just have an official that guy and main characters just gotta hope they’re not playing hard ball that episode. Phantom stranger is probably the most mysterious character in comics.. Some say he's judas, and others say he is the servant of the presence (dc god) he insanely powerful and seems to have infinite wisdom and knowledge. His main purpose is unknown

Yeah, his deal is usually that no one knows for sure who he is, he just shows up to help like a magical version of the Doctor from Doctor Who. One origin he's a cursed Judas wandering the world to make up for betraying Jesus, one he's a former angel who decided to remain neutral during the Fall of Satan which got him banned from both Heaven AND Hell, and another he was the only good man in a city God sent an angel to destroy for being evil and when the guy said that he'd just stay there to keep his family and friends alive, the angel spared the city but erased him from his loved ones' memories so even his own family would just see him as a Stranger.

The forces of chaos and order are polar opposites but you can be a lord of order and evil or a lord of chaos and good. They are not the ultimate forms of good or evil more a perpendicular force.

I really highly recommend suraj play DC Universe Online on PS5/4. It explores so much DC Lore and it includes all corners of the universe from heroes to villains. Lots of Young Justice and Justice League characters show up!

Idk much about Blue Devil besides he’s magic based and used to be an actor I think. He appeared in the Swamp Thing show, though as a human until like the very end. Xanadu is there too! Yes, Madame Xanadu’s encounter with Kent Nelson and Abra was in the first Doctor Fate episode in season 1. He called out all the fake shit she had going on. Zatara is Zatanna’s father. He succeeded Kent Nelson as the long time host of Doctor Fate.

Kent Nelson isn't zatanna's dad, he is the previous Dr Fate. His soul was freed at some point, i can't remember when that was but Nabu said it in one of the eps. Madame Xanadu was in the first season in the dr fate episode, at the time she didn't have any powers

Kent Nelson isn’t zatanas dad that’s zatara. Kent Nelson was the spirit that was trapped in the helmet during the 1st season but nabu let his spirit go to the afterlife when he took zataras body
