@ahsokarules23692 жыл бұрын
@@lightningg252 I thought they did Michael dirty in the last season. Lucifer's whole point in sparring him was to give him a second chance. And I figured him scrubbing the floors of Hell would be his community service, but they should've given us a bit more. Like, when Lucifer's saying goodbye to everyone, they could've had a scene of Lucifer at Lux drinking scotch, Amenadiel shows up and says "He's here." and there Michael is in back of him, looking a bit broken. Then, Lucifer make amends with Michael, saying he was sorry that he always felt like he was in his shadow that caused him to lash out, and through Lucifer and Michael finally burring the hatchet, we see Michael lower his right shoulder, no longer feeling the crick and starting to let go of his inferiority complex. That completes Michael and Lucifer's rivalry, Michael's overall arc, and leaves it open ended enough for us to theorize where Michael goes from there because we don't see him self-actualize his wings back and see if they're fixed like his shoulder. That would show that he still has a ways to go before he subconsciously believes himself worthy of being an Archangel again and not just rushing his complete redemption.

It makes sense. L: My name is Lucifer T: [whispers] Like the Devil? She was young enough to actually believe Lucifer was telling the truth from the beginning. Rana is me in every episode! Especially S6. The flashforward was sad, but the reunion scene and the prior scene with Amenadiel are the most beautiful endings I ever seen. I hope Chloe became an archangel, or the option is there, she deserves it. The cast, crew and Lucifans want to come back (not as a S7, but as a spin-off or movies). The nephilim as the new generation, Amenadiel and Lucifer as the mentors of their children, it would be cool to see. There are many good fanfics if you want to read them. P.S.: the ending looks like Supernatural because it is based on The Sandman, and Lucifer is a comic from The Sandman. Also, a few people from Supernatural worked on Lucifer, as directors or actors (and Lucifer's people met Supernatural's people when they filmed in Vancouver S1 and S2).

what a journey guys! I think this was an excellent ending for a great show! Linda burned the book draft two episodes ago, so she never published it. It is clear that God always had a plan. Angels were created for a purpose. Amenadiel was always destined to replace his father, and Lucifer was created to control the other realm. The problem was that Lucifer alone in hell would never have realized what his calling was. That's where God puts Chloe on the board who worked as a catalyst for Lucifer. I always wondered what a good ending the love story of a human and an immortal could have, and the showrunners found it.
@kevinmorbidthelostcronin198411 ай бұрын
Something most people do not think about with the series is the "background" "murder-of-the-week'. The Normies brought this up often and I had to refrain from saying anything. Why? Because it completed the Arc you did not even know you were watching. Each murder teaches Lucifer to understand motives better, to sympathize more, and how to move past the surface appearances to the underlying issues. In the first Season of Lucifer, he is always coming up with ideas that are simplistic and wrong. As the show goes on, we get more episodes showing what he has learned. At first it looks like satire, but by Season 6, we watch him able to put those skills to use. And by finally being able to sympathize and 'dig into the motives', he can be a healer, instead of the self-indulgent and prideful frat-boy he started as. All perfectly placed. The finale finishes the connecting of pieces so we release that even though an episode might have been a "bottle" episode, it still mattered in the overall arc.

Here we go ...the end of Lucifer! I just loved how they wrapped every character's storyline up. If you think about it, Linda and Father Frank were right in Season 1. God sent Lucifer to Hell to do the most difficult job of all (redeeming damned souls), Fallen Angels can rise and God's plan with Lucifer wasn't finished yet. He just had to experience his time on Earth and his connections with people to become ready for his true purpose. Thanks for your reactions .

It's interesting what Spidey said about how he never would have watched the show without the Normies. I've been thinking about that here and there since the series ended, especially when it comes to whether or not to recommend the show to friends or family members who happen to be particularly religious or might take offense to the topics explored. Ultimately, I think the show did a great job exploring the complexities of the "devil" as a person and character and how even he can find redemption (while still remaining his marvelously saucy and hilarious self, lol). When I first started watching the show, I thought, oh man, some people I know are going to hear it's a show about the devil and immediately dismiss it as something not worth watching. As someone who grew up Catholic but has stepped away from organized religion, I wondered if it was a bit of a rebellion coming out in me for wanting to watch the show in the first place. But I was curious how they would tackle the character, and I'm glad I gave it a go. I imagine there will always be someone who takes offense or can't laugh at or acknowledge their own faith's complexities and issues, but some might find themselves actually enjoying it and finding use for it as a great example of redemption. I think that the show's overall message seems to be an open-minded view of God and the devil and of faith in general, which is why I do recommend this show to all. I think regardless of religion, it's also a lesson that you can still learn and grow and become a better version of yourself, if you're honest with yourself and simply try (and also have a great therapist like Linda, lol). And that it's never impossible to change if you really want to. So for those family members of mine who balk when I say I watch Lucifer, I usually try to point out (without revealing spoilers) that the show is about redemption and truth and hope, as well as letting go of baggage and forgiving people in our lives (even if we never forget), and that they might find they actually like the show and find something worthwhile in its stories and in the way it ends. Each of these characters changed in important ways throughout the course of the show, and I love that. The Amenadiel of the pilot episode is completely different than the one we got to know by the end, while still being inherently himself -- I would have never thought the stern Amenadiel who told Lucifer that he would love to war with his fallen brother would end up having such a beautiful and close relationship with him. His evolution became one of my favorite parts of the show. Who would have imagined Amenadiel could become so FUNNY too? And Lucifer became a much more compassionate person, someone who was able to finally forgive his father and tell him he loves his father (and have his father's love vocalized in return, which he really needed). All of that is really lovely and says a lot about people being able to change and let go of baggage, communicate better with one another, and move forward in a positive loving way. For all those reasons, I think people should give this show a chance. Have you discussed the show with your mom as you watched the program this past year, Spidey? Do you feel it is a program that even religious people could get something worthwhile from? 😊

I can't remember a show making me feel so many buried deep emotions as this one. As a parent, I always found it odd how easy Chloe found it to just dump trixie whenever she wanted to do whatever, buuuuut it's like Arya Starks' plot armour i dont like it but i can live with it. When chloe dies, i did wonder where trixie was she could be dead, i suppose, but after all that, surely she should have been sat by the bed at least? Anyway the last episode was the absolute one. I did not get upset at any point at all. Well worth the watch, and the soundtrack is top. At least 2 well made Oasis covers whats not to lime ❤❤❤

I look at him every time he says this and then look at all of his sci-fi books on CD that are extremely suspect. Very funny. Like, when I tried to get him to read my favorite book (the author made fun of Christian beliefs by naming the high lord of Hell Saetan SaDiablo-- its literally meant as a joke because he's powerful but has nothing on the main character) but he called it satanic and only listened for 2 chapters. It is a high fantasy book. Won awards. But sure.

maybe even the serial killers and horrid people who don't have any reservations about the poor choices they make still make it to hell because the show is all about how guilt can manifest in many ways even if we're not conscious of what it is. So assuming there is some innate goodness in everyone then even those horrible people would have subconscious guilt and even they could be redeemed with Doctor Lucifer's therapy. Its pretty much the same thing they did in the Good Place right - No one is beyond rehabilitation - so they keep reliving the afterlife reboots until they become better people and can go into the Good Place/Heaven.
