@@jidhindharanm.p9351 No, he was only with Diane for about 100 years. He has known Diane for a total of 800 years, and left shortly after they bet the hunter's grandson. So he was imprisoned for a long time before Meliodas recruited him. However, he was recruited far longer than 14 years. The whole scheme to kill Zaratras happened roughly 15 years before all of the events in the first season. There is more information as well, but it's manga spoilers.

*This is why King's one of the top characters. Anf the irony of it all is that all of SINS never really committed any of the sin in an evil manner. They all kinda had pureat of intentions which really questions the subjectivity of the world. Really nice there.* *How Meliodas wrath was outta love; King's sloth was unintentional ; Ban's greed will never allow him to meet his love in the world of immortals and Gowther's lust wasnt the typical lust.*

Madara Uchiha from what I’ve gathered their sins are the manifestations of their own depression as they each blame themselves for an uncontrollable event that happened within their lives. They carry their sins as a reminder to never allow it to happen again whilst being truly broken individuals on the inside, relying on each other to fill in the wounds the events left them with

King was sentenced and spent around 200 years in jail before joining the 7DS. Also, while giants and Fairies both age differently from humans they don't exactly brush off 1000 years as if they are nothing. Diane is around 700 and is the equivalent to a 16 year old meanwhile King has already crossed the 1000 barrier and isn't too far off from a Faries natural life cicle end. He only looks young because the bodies of fairies don't rot and keep a youthful look forever.

King isn't "far off from a Faries natural life cicle end", please don't make up shit like that because it confuses people who don't know with misinformation. Faeries have the longest lifespan out of all the races by far, much longer than that of giants. THAT'S why he still looks the same while Diane grew in 700 years. Because for faeries, even 700 years is nothing. Its the human equivalent of 2 or 3 years at most. That's why there's only been like 3 fairy kings in ALL OF HISTORY. Because of how insanely long they live.

Ahh... I gotta say, as uncomfortable and weird as it is to say this, it's something that's hard to keep out of mind when watching this show... This series is bizarrely creative in how many different ways they jam some sort of pedophiliac implication into the story. Don't think so? Let me list some here really quick: Starting with the light one, Ban's romance with Elaine. Classic anime stuff, she's an adult in every sense other than the fact that she looks like a child. Now let's go for a more creative one, King getting romantically interested in Diane when she was a child, because Fairies looking like children when they're adults means that it doesn't seem weird from his perspective. Here's another, Meliodas knowing and some times taking care of Elizabeth when she was a baby, now more than a dozen years later and he's in a relationship with her. I could go on, but I'd rather avoid spoiler territory. I'll just say, if any of these sound remotely bad, just you wait until you meet Lancelot... And for those who've seen the series, let me give you some key words to remind you of a few more so you can remember them yourself and I won't need to spoil it: Burning kiss. The fox's jealous nanny. Reverse uno card stolen kiss.
