White Pat is right. He has always had a very specific amount of people that he protects. His circle has always been very small. He doesn't protect entire people groups, but rather people themselves. He has never been able to see the big picture. Sure he learned to be a little calmer in season 1, but he never actually strove for peace with the Grounders. Then, when he should have been peaceful in his dealings with Murphy, he attacked him. He has always been quick to anger and think with his emotions. That is what Brown Pat is getting at. Also, Bellamy and Finn are two entirely different situations. Finn was actually mentally unhealthy, Bellamy has just convinced himself that what he is doing is justified and right. It is justified, but it is not right. It's not just physical pain, it's emotional pain as well. We are the sum of our experiences and memories. I would argue that losing pain and memories is like losing a part of myself, I am not the same me anymore without some of those memories. This is what Brown Pat is getting at. You are not the same person mentally, emotionally, or even physically as you were yesterday or three days ago. Each and every one of our experiences shapes who we are, and without all of them, we are simply not the same person. Oddly, enough Pat, you are actually contradicting your own argument. At around 27:19 ya'll are actually arguing on the opposite sides of the discussion you were having immediately after episode about brain chemistry. Clarke is still not over the Mountain, she doesn't know what she wants. And that is going to end very badly.

Don’t forget that despite being commander, Lexa is still very young. She was trying to not repeat Mount Weather and make peace but she isn’t going about it right. Clark has a lot of influence over her. However, Lexa isn’t totally on board. She called out Clark for her hypocrisy and isn’t totally on board with the plan.

DatGuy also let’s not forget that Clarke just turned 18 as well. Was Never trained to lead or command or rule like Lexa was since birth. She doesn’t have advisors by her side. She’s totally making decisions to try save her people. And also, she’s the one that came up with the “peace” aspect of this and Lexa betrayed her first. Anyways, I agree she was being hypocritical about killing Emerson, but she eventually came around. Lexa was just being distracted by her feelings for Clarke and Titus was right about it. However, that was not totally wrong because Clarke did stand for peace. But we know how that turned out welp...

They didn't make the Polis = Polaris connection? The 13th station is the Grounder Capital city, which is named Polis. Becca's ship crashed there and that's why the Grounders have the same symbol that ALIE has, they also have ALIE's version 2 in Polis, so she needs to go there to upgrade herself into the world destroyer again.

These people are so unfairly harsh on Clarke. First, they hate her because she wants 'Carl Emerson Mt. Weather Security Detail' dead (yes, I know she had previously suggested "Blood Must NOT Have Blood"earlier) and then SHIT on her when she changes her mind and lets him live. She's a human being....she's conflicted just like any normal person would be. She suggested "Blood Must Not Have Blood" earlier because she didn't want Lexa to killed her people (the innocent and the guilty). However, 'Carl Emerson Mt. Weather Security Detail' shows up and she sees red because of the shit that went down at Mt. Weather and because he helped Ice Nation kill more of her people. And since he is literally THE LAST OF HIS KIND OR LAST OF HIS PEOPLE...there won't be any blow back or anyone else coming back later for revenge. However, I do think Clarke letting him live was a better decision because he'll suffer more alive. He wanted to die so his pain and suffering would end. Therefore, don't give him what he wants.

A part of me actually feels sorry for Bellamy. He’s got his reasons for being against the grounders (I’m not justifying his actions per say, just trying to see his perspective). It’s kind of like he was trying to do better in season 2, seeing how the mountain men lived, not wanting to kill all of them as well as the people who helped him. But then he got betrayed by Lexa, leading him to kill all of the people who helped him, and right after that the only person who he was sort of vulnerable with, Clarke, left him with all this trauma to deal with on his own. Now after that, he got told by Pike time after time that the grounders were bad, and were the reason for ALL the skycru deaths, but he still teamed up with Echo, because he trusted her. Then SHE betrayed him and that resulted in his fricking girlfriend getting killed. He has plenty of reasons to have trust issues at this point. Also keep in mind he still wasn’t actually fully on board with their team-up in season 2, because of how they’d treated the 100 in season 1. The only grounder that he really trusted, got to know a bit and didn’t betray him up until now was Lincoln. That’s not much if you ask me. He was manipulated by Pike and the other farm station people (god I hate Monty’s mom) whilst also being in a very emotional and traumatised state. I just hate seeing these clips, because he’s just so...soft I guess, constantly doubting what they’re doing, but going through with it in the end because Pike convinced him that the deaths were on him, that HE was at fault for trusting a grounder. Making him feel guilty for trusting grounders at all, whilst also feeling hate and anger towards the grounders, but also mourning his girlfriend. He’s a very emotionally driven person anyways (the heart, if you get it you get it😂), which can sometimes (or a lot of times) lead to rash and ultimately bad not well thought out decisions. I also just think this show always toes the line between good and bad decisions and what consequences they have. It’s really interesting to me, I could talk about it for hours haha. I may be a little biased now because I’ve watched the whole show already and absolutely love Bellamy, but I also HATED his guts the first time I watched season 3a. The things he did reeeally pissed me off. But ultimately, I feel for him in the end. Disclaimer: this is my own opinion, it changes almost every day lol but today I felt really passionate about this side of things. I can still understand both perspectives though. Even though he annoyed me a lot, for some reason I saw so much hurt in his eyes? Anyone with me? Especially in 3x05 with Clarke when his voice broke and everything🥺

I don't agree with Bellamy's actions at the moment but his aversion to the grounders is understandable, when you think about it anytime he's been willing to support a truce with the grounders or believe them it's bitten him in the ass. He was reluctant to let Clarke go the bridge in season 1 and from his point of view it was an ambush for Clarke which led to war. He was the following the plan to get everyone out of Mt. Weather and the grounders betrayed them forcing him to kill those people who helped him. Then another grounder who he helped save Echo betrayed him early this season which resulted in him leaving his girlfriend and everyone in Mt. Weather to die. Is Bellamy wrong? Yes but I can understand where he is coming from. One of my favourite things about this show is that for 99% of characters including the villains even when they are wrong have understandable motivations. A huge theory in the fandom is that the 100 are ultimately the villains of the story.
