Toriyama never said anything about ending the series after namek. He did say he wanted it to be a short series during dragonball but due to how popular it was continued. He himself only spoke of ending the series twicw, during dragonball and before king picollo and then again after goku beat picollo Jr.

I heard he intended on stopping it after the Cell saga, would’ve been the perfect stopping point tbh with us meeting future trunks, Gohan achieving Super Saiyan 2, and Vegeta really showing a new side. Would’ve been a great way to end DBZ as it would’ve felt concluded but also left plenty of openings up for the next series.

@@Spade999 Thats not true either. Toriyama had zero plans to end the show until it ended. Toriyama wanted to end the show after Pilaf. Fans wanted more. Until its actual end Toriyama has never said he wanted to end it after that point.

@@Spade999 Nah he wanted Gohan to become the protagonist, but while writing the first couple chapters he figured out that he had no idea how to write Gohan instead of simply turning him into another Goku (not my words, his) so he thought what the hell might as well just bring Goku back.

Goku was using Kaioken x10 for most of the fight. He bumped it up to x20 for that Kamehameha. The technique was doing more damage to Goku than Freeza did. Super Saiyan is a x50 multiplier, so Kaioken x100 would be comparable to Super Saiyan 2... except it would basically tear the user to shreds in an instant.

so here's something about the music, the piece that plays during the Kaio-ken scene is orchestrated by Kenji Yamamoto, who's done multiple pieces for DragonBall Z in the past. Yamamoto's music was really a great addition to the Original SoundTrack......except the irony is, it's not original. Yeah, Toei realized his music was indeed orchestral, but it was also stolen from better artists (the track that plays during Kaio-ken is taken from Avatar.) (no, not that one, the blue one.). so the "Original Music" done by Yamamoto was all plagiarized music pieces, but the plagiarized music pieces are exactly why it sounded good, bit of a Catch-22 situation. The music for DragonBall Z that he "composed" was replaced by Shunsuke Kikuchi's work, who's music is actually really, really good. (you can still find Yamamoto's music in Budokai 3 though. the ps2 version, not the remastered, for obvious reasons.) then there's the Bruce Falconer score, &....yeah, that's got people divided like anime Dubs vs Subs. *cough* *cough* kikuchiforlife *cough* *cough* 2:03 - 2:51 "By the way, i wanted that scene written that way specifically to shit on what the original dub did to that scene, where it made it sound like Vegeta would never have been evil if it hadn't of been for Freeza. No." -Kaiserneko 3:15 Taka: original joke, "mm mmm mmmm...." Lani: yeah, he buries him alive, *muffled yelling* . Kaiser: you know what's weird? hearing Vegeta say "Goku Black" in fighterZ. Lani: If we ever did Super, it'd be Blackarot. Kaiser: oh yeah, no, it's Blackarot.

Dont ghost ban me plz There was a clear difference in what was going on with their screen and what we saw. If you pay attention, they stop and then restart the video while we just see the whole thing, then they watch the ending scene when we have already finished the episode. Makes you wonder what their setup is, since what we see is not a recording of the screen as they watch it.

KiokenX20 is the max he has ever done in the anime/manga. The videogames have it at max times 100. It first appeared in budokai 2 as an awoken skill. And is stronger than all the other forms in game other than ssj3.

KiokenX100 is the last one you unlock as a special reward along with the skill set Breakthrough. (Lets you use all skills but you cant heal or negate capsle effects like Heart virus.)

Akira Toriyama was already a millionaire before he created Dragonball. He made his bank on Doctor Slump. He doesn't do this for the money, if he wants out he gets out. He just likes writing about the Dragonball characters that's the big reason why he kept going. But, by the end of the Buu Saga he got tired and it was less fun for him. Which is why he took a break from the series for so long. Also, no one told him to come back, but around the time they were planning battle of Gods he got inspired again and return to sheppard the series.

Fans were creating massive fan projects that ended up getting shut down by copyright because they were so big. To be perfectly honest the tournament of power basically rips off the concept of the Dragon Ball Multiverse manga which is a fan created project and its sooo good. Even xenoverse started as a fan project. That's why super was made on top of toriyama really not liking evolution and wanting a continuation that he had a hand in. He likes gt but he didnt make it

Super fans even make it a point to watch they’re fav artist multiple times within the first 24 hours to boost its initial view count and break records. Hell, many sites like KZbin/Facebook are blocked in countries with the highest populations thereby limiting the possibility of the views to get into the Billions. Obviously the original content should get the views, but most , if not all, of the people here have already seen it and aren’t super fans that will got back repeatedly to increase the Original’s view count.
