Ep 45 - Android 18: " Well, if I were a guessing girl, I'd say they're at Kame House." Ep 50 - Krillin : "Except, if I were a bettin' boy, that's... probably where the androids are..." From what I've seen, they're the only characters to ever use the "If I were (x)" with that alliteration. Trunks says "If I were a gambling man" at some point, and maybe other characters use "If I were", but none of them have that double alliteration that 18 and Krillin share. That's some amazingly subtle writing, implying a connection between the two :D Goddamn, TFS got so GOOD!

I agree. While Goku is a full blooded saiyan and wishes for an equal fight, he’s also just as human because of his upbringing on Earth, so the fact that Cell transforms at the cost of lives is not something he would risk just for a fight.

On the other hand at this point vegeta isn’t really a villain anymore but he’s still not a hero he’s more of an anti hero, he’s pretty much neutral on whether someone lives or dies but he’ll still do whatever he can to make sure the outcome is in his favor. Example: letting cell absorb android 18 so he can have more (fun) action, it’s not with necessarily evil intentions he just wants to be able to use his full power and kick some ass because right now the only thing that really matters to him is getting stronge enough to beat goku.

He let Gero finish the androids despite knowing the guy from the future just said they kill most of the people on Earth. He's an asshole. The same asshole who wanted Gohan to have a fair fight (infamous Senzu Bean). He wanted a rematch against Vegeta (who beat his ass ragged), so he begged Krillin to allow it even as our Prince promised to kill them all when he gets back. Again, he is a silly piece of shit. One that fucked around with Buu repeatedly even with the whole universe on the line.

Now that I think about it, all the Saiyans (except Vegeta) turned Super Saiyan ever so briefly before fully 'unlocking' the form for the first time. Gohan in this episode, Goku's hair spiking before the final surge of power, and Trunks when training late at night in his own timeline. Vegeta's hair did the same when he transformed against the Androids, but on that flashback on the lightning storm planet, he just went straight into the form without a hair color change flicker.

Tbh goku isnt as dumb as tfs and DBS paint him out to be. especially in this part of dragonballz. Goku is very ignorant to the going's on around him with things that involve normal human society because hes laser focused on training. If anything id say goku is more naive than he is stupid. Its never to the extent that super made it. Truth of the matter is no one writes goku quite like how toriyama writes goku. We often just get a caricature of an aspect of his personality. If anything goku is actually really manipulative (not in a villainous way) and clever, when he really wants something(specifically training related things) Alot of people dont rememember this about Goku because people never go back and watch/read DBZ, so stuff like super and TFS is more of what people actually remember. Also no way goku would let cell eat 18. Not because it would make him stronger but because Goku doesnt condone killing people.

Yep, you're 100% right. I love Goku's t4s, he's hella funny, but he's kinda the crazy version of the original one, or at least what Goku seems to be on his surface in the Anime. Goku's a great character, but there are some traits of his personality that you can't completely catch in the animated serie, and t4s worked on the Anime, so obviously some things are different. A little example: after Goku defeats Frieza on Namek and he thinks he's dead, in the anime there's a close up where Goku has a serious judging facial expression, meaning he's disappointed with Frieza's reaction. In the Manga, the same close up shows Goku with a very sad expression, meaning he feels sorry for Frieza. This single little thing makes a cosmic difference between Manga and Anime. He really care about others, and he avoid to killing people in general even when they're really bad (Batman vibes). And speaking about Goku and Gohan, when Piccolo explains to Goku why Gohan doesn't became ssj2, (during the Cell Game), Goku's visibly totally lost and he feels terribly sorry for having misunderstood his son. Also it's pretty obvious that the reason Goku acts like he doesn't care about Gohan , it's just because he thinks Gohan is like him. A very common misunderstanding between father and son. These traits aren't properly shown in the anime, and aren't really shown in t4s serie in consequence I think. I like both original one and t4s's version, but it's important to figure out that they're not exactly the same character.

Super's LSS is an alternate take on SS4's idea of Oozaru in base form (before stacking SS on it). It seems to run with the Funidub mistranslation school of thought (actually was getting stronger with time, but seemingly only up to a point **sort of like how the original LSS would have to blow off some excess from time to time**). Yea Vegeta is so much better of a Father then Goku also a better Husband. At least the Vegeta after the whole Majin turn. The scales went to Vegeta side and stayed their from the moment Vegeta decided to sacrifice his own life in order to protect Trunks and Bulma. Yea he was a dick to Future Trunks in this arc. But by the time Super rolls around he did more as a father with him in that arc then Goku has done the entire franchise. And then again in Super Vegeta even refuses to go to the tournament to be able to fight strong fighters something he usually cares about more then anything else. But his promise to be at home until the birth of his Daughter is more important to him then that. Which would never be the case with Goku. He at the end of this arc decides to leave his young son and wife alone for what 5+ yrs all because of some BS excuse that him being on Earth puts then in to much danger. He's so oblivious to his family that he doesn't even check in with them once during that entire period despite the fact that he could easily talk to them through King Kai yet he never did seeing how he didn't even know he had another son until he met him. Such a bad father that he can't even realize something as damn obvious as the fact that Gohan doesn't actually enjoy fighting like he does. Also don't even think he's ever kissed his own wife which have no clue how you have had sex at least twice with her yet never kissed her. Although who knows maybe he's never even had sex maybe Chi Chi got his sperm some other way. As in Super we learn he has no idea what Kissing even is and thinks it looks gross.

I think that they can keep complaining about him if they don't like him, just that they should understand that their complaints are going anywhere (Plus, weather they complain or not they do help the channel, and I think people are smart enough to decide if they keep watching, pointing to the exit won't do anything more than help you vent your distaste for mikey's detractors)

Why is it wrong to complain? They themselves are missing most of what they are watching. The point of a reaction is to react, yet they just talk over many of the jokes made. (Mostly Mikey.) You can't tell people not to critique something just because there's "negativity" in their statements. The hate doesn't come from nowhere or is unjustified. It comes from people who want THEM to enjoy the series instead of showing little interest by hardly paying attention. I love many of their reactions, but I've had to actually stop watching some of their series since they blatantly talk over it and then are confused why something is happening later on.
