You guys need to understand this Anime is a Japanese series which means that it is animated for Japanese Voiceover . Hence it is called Original version or subbed. The arguement that the dub is good is irrelevant , you are choosing it mostly because of convenience. If this was Live action series you would never argue about it but the same standards is not applied for anime. Anime is dubbed into many languages and english is just one of them but Japanese is OV and therefor it is special for fans. Most people prefer to watch OV , especially for foreign programs. You don't need to speak the language to enjoy it. If you make an executive decision to watch it in Dub that's fine but don't says its because dub is good or by popular demand . Please don't be an American about this

the reason why they were questioning the "goodbye (sayonara)" is because if you say "sayonara " that means you wont be seeing the person again or for a long while, thats why Okarun was thinking about that he was once again pushing his friends away and he wanted to see her again, but thankfully Momo called out back to him and said "see ya tomorrow" meaning that their relationship wasnt going to end with a farewell.

To explain: Sayonara is more a more formal goodbye that's kind of impersonal and implying you don't expect to see them again soon. It's not how friends would typically say goodbye to each other, so the change better reflects that Momo is looking forward to hanging out with him again.

First 4:32, when Turbo Granny asked if they were connected to a sorcerer. She was talking about the special clothing Okarun wore because it was effective. So yes, they are connected to a sorcerer - Momo's granny. Secondly, from what I understand: The repetition of "goodbye" at the end is just them contemplating. Not about how they said the word. It's that "sayonara" kinda implies like an actual farewell and it didn't sit right with both of them. Okraun was probably feeling sad that Momo wasn't going to stay friends with him now that the problem's solved. And that's why Momo yelled "See you tomorrow!" to reassure Okraun that they're going to keep hanging out after all of this.

And as of this episode, we start seeing the (in my eyes) best part of Dan Da Dan. The backstories & motivations of the characters, as well as the degree of nuance and shades of grey their actions are portrayed with (e.g. Turbo granny and the spirits of girls who were taken too soon, often in horrific fashion). While I certainly enjoy the zaney and lighthearted aspects of the series, I think the thing that gives so much heart and has ultimately kept me really truly hooked is that the level of genuine depth in character motivations is outstanding.

It's just a preference. I consider sub the only right option, but I'd never drop a reaction series just because they choose dub. I watch Blind Wave, and they always do dub. On top of that, people will comment, and that's good for the channel, right? Always watch the way you enjoy it most. I'll try to convince you to my opinion, but I'll respect whatever you choose. Is there a way to check nationality of viewers? This whole discussion usually goes toxic because the majority of countries in the world are used to watching foreign content, so always subbed, but not America.
