Your variation and video of the Meat Whistle is the best that I have seen. Awesome job. In LA we use a variation of the meat whistle to target the local saltwater structure bass - calicos and sand bass. We just add a 60 lb weed guard out front. I will definitely tie up a few of your variations and give them a go! Thanks again.

Definitely looks good with a tapered strip, I’m not convinced it fishes better… have you had better luck with flies tapered?
