Great documentary and summary of the history. A few things aren't accurate though, Jamie B orchestrated the Surrey 6 hit, but he wasn't there. The 3rd guy was named Dennis Karbovanec if I remember correctly. The other thing, the city is called port Moody not mooly, which I thought was funny. I was involved in the drug trade around this time and knew some of those mentioned. There was enough to share but egos and low intelligence leads to everybody dying. The only guy who just wanted to make money and didn't start anything was gurmit dhak. He was a good guy as far as these types of people go and probably didn't deserve to go out so young. The new kids on the block are still mostly Punjabi and some are Somali. Bikers still run everything. One of my closest friends brothers was an HA and did a decade in US prison for flying helicopters over the border doing drug runs. I think there was a documentary about it a while ago. This lifestyle never ends well, with the exception of a few guys who are still going strong but even their future isnt certain. There's a crew of Russians/slavs who are making huge money, tens of thousands a day every day if not more than don't start any trouble and the police don't bug them because of it I assume. The Asian gangs are still big time but low key, many old men you wouldn't assume are triads. Still, for some reason the big egos get into this line of "work" and lives will inevitably cut prematurely. The Punjabi guys are very big egos and act hard despite most of the known players living in their parents million dollar homes and driving their dads range Rovers. Punjabis killing Punjabis is sad to see, they are all brothers and would be a lot stronger if they cooperated but maybe it's a cultural thing. Wishing everybody peace and prosperity. Stay safe out there!
