The Nuggs looks fresh and sharp man! I really enjoyed the extreme front view camera. Felt like I was right amongst the action, skimming above the track. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!

The Nugget Project I found a 2002 wrx going really cheap with no reg or rwc so I thought why not you seem to be having fun I’ll give it ago. Not much done yet I get friends to come over and help but we just seem to drink instead

@@jamiejackson7722 haha yup that sounds about right. good stuff! even if you just get it working well at a base level and you've got a trailer and tow car, most track days will let you on as long as it's got seatbelts, decent tyres and a fire extinguisher, just work your way from there :)

Mate they are so much fun, powerful cars are great, but they break, wear out quickly and cost a tonne, I literally change my oil and filter and that it, just send it!

The AR1's are great bang for buck, but the advan a050s are definitely faster. The advans are also MUCH better in the wet. Only downside is they are double the price

Heheh yup i think that's why i didn't consider them! Can't use them in the category anyway, it would just be for later on if i got another set of wheels for doing hillclimbs and trying to get pbs at track days :) Other stuff needs my money first :)

@@TheNuggetProject my last 2 sets of tyres on my accent have been the AR1's as we can run whatever semi slicks we choose. You will definitely like them, but you need to run them soft as they are very stiff. My fastest laptimes have come from running them right down at 24psi hot, where as I ran 28psi hot for the a050s. The excel is looking good 👍🏻

I had a clunk in the back of my excel and I found that the nut on the sway bar end link had pulled through the rubber and was knocking on the control arm. Not sure if yours will be the same issue or not.
